Bay of Islands Lodge Paihia

Really great place to stay, owners are really nice and friendly, give great tips on where to go, rooms are all really clean, they provide proper towels and 2 types of pillows - soft and firm which was cool, location is also great!

The owners were fantastic. I had severe food poisoning and even on a Saturday night they were there, called an ambulance and made sure my ( year old was ok. Thank you so much!!

No complaints! Staff was super friendly and helpful, gave us plenty of great recommendations of things to do. Room itself was very clean and well worth the price! Very considerate too as they gave us each both a soft and stiff pillow to choose from. Shared kitchen facility was well stocked and tidy! Location was also excellent, short 5min walk to beach and main shopping area. Parking was easy too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This was one of the best places to stay in the bay of islands. It’s about a 2 min walk from the beach and only about 5 mins to the ferry to get to other islands around the bay. The staff were so helpful and friendly they gave me lots of advice of what to do with my time in the area. The facilities were great, kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the room was lovely and clean. 10/10 stay.

Tolle Lodge. Im unserem Zimmer war die Toilette defekt, als wir dies meldeten wurde sofort reagiert und wir erhielten ein neues Zimmer. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke für den tollen Aufenthaltbei euch.

Lynn and Andy are great hosts. The private double room with en-suite was so comfortable and clean. The lodge is 5-10 mins walk from the centre of Paihia so the location is good. Thanks for a very relaxing stay!

It was a nice enough place to stay, however it was very empty (on a Saturday) and had very little atmosphere. However the staff was very nice and I felt safe enough to relax as a teenage girl.

Lovely couple, clean and safe. Would highly recommend to any traveller and if visiting again will choose to stay here.

Andy and Lyn are great. They looked after us despite a hiccup with the booking and we were very impressed they went the extra mile to ensure we were accommodated K

We were very lucky to stay here and we would highly recommend it. Location and value is great and our room/facilities were exactly what we were after, especially a very clean kitchen. This place was made fantastic thanks to the two hosts Andy and Lynne who were willing to go above and beyond to help. We had an issue with our car while there and they selflessly helped us with advice/lifts to where we needed to be which cut out a lot of stress and won’t be forgotten. Thanks so much again!
