Pring Guesthouse

A great place to stay! The guesthouse has a beautiful common area to unwind, clean shared facilities, and the most approachable, friendly and welcoming staff you could hope for! It was also conveniently located near multiple grocery and restaurant options, cafes and bus stops. Definitely one of my favourite hostels I've stayed in. I hope to stay there again when again I am in the area. :) I enjoyed it and felt safe as a single traveller. Thiugh I think it would also be perfect for small groups

Before I leave Hamilton, I have to give a shout out to the Pring Guesthouse where I stayed. It was lovely. Clean, tidy, quiet… the people were welcoming and pleasant, the room was great, the kitchen was stocked with utensils and dishes and even a little food! And everything was *labeled*. 🙂The washrooms were clean and well-lit. One note of caution: it is located in an old stone house and has lots of stairs. Highly recommended. I will stay there again.

Great hostel in a good central location! Free coffee and cereal is a plus, and it’s nice to be able to do your laundry. There are also books and board games. The hosts are really friendly and easy to get in touch with. I would strongly recommend this hostel and would stay again

Our stay at Pring was just amazing! The guesthouse has everything you need and more. It's super clean, the kitchen is fully equipped and even provides free food for guests, there's games and towels and everything you could possibly want. Would definitely recommend staying at Pring if you go to Hamilton. We will be back whenever we come to Hamilton again. Tanya was a ray of sunshine and greeted us in the most friendly way! Thanks for the great stay!

A very welcoming home. Comfortable and clean.

It's not trendy and modern like big hostels in major cities, but it's very cozy and comfortable, and that easily makes up for it. It feels like a home, not a hotel.

Great facilities and super friendly staff, the building itself is very cool. Nice location close to downtown Hamilton. Plenty of places to eat nearby and only 10/15 minute walk to west harbour train station with regular trains to Toronto. Really enjoyed my stay.

The most comfortable hostel I ever stayed in! Beds had curtains for privacy, the staff was friendly, huge kitchen to help yourself. Calm hostel but I still connected with some guests :)

The place is great and well located. The staff is really nice! Hamilton is a city with couple things to see and visit (ww2 ship and the castle)

Super clean and quiet. The area is a bit concerning if you aren't used to seeing homeless people around but the property itself feels very safe and secure. Really clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen for cooking etc. My only concern was that the bed didn't have any top sheet, just a comforter - but there is a closet for extra linens of you need them.

The Pring House was amazing! So cozy and lovely. I only stayed there for one night before going to Toronto on the next morning but I really enjoyed my stay. The owners are super friendly, the atmosphere was great and I met lovely people. I would recommend a stay at the Pring House to anyone who ends up in Hamilton for any reason.

It was very nice and quiet atmosphere inside an old victorian home. A lot of cool Coffeeshops, Bars, and Restaurants just a few blocks away. I would definitely come back and enjoy Hamilton for another night :)

This was a great little hostel! Perfect distance from town, very quiet, and had everything you would need. The only downside was that the kitchen was undergoing renovations while I was there. It would have been nice to know ahead of time, since I have food allergies that make it hard for me to eat out, but while the stove and sink were inaccessible, we still had use of the fridge, microwave, and coffee machine, which was enough to get by! I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in Hamilton again...

Everything was perfect! It was clean, the bed was good, people were friendly! Tanya was very nice! I would go back there if I‘ll ever be in Hamilton ;)
