Villa Ivan

Quiet, peaceful hostel with a breathtaking balcony view of the city. Easy access by foot to markets, cafes, bakeries, and public transport. Ivan was so nice and had a lot of great information for our stay.

An amazing place with amazing views! Its about half an hour walk from the Old Town and worth it for the views. The staff were very welcoming and gave lots of recommendations of places to eat. It's about 5 euro Uber from the Old town back, and a lovely walk down. The room and bathroom were very clean, little balcony, hot shower, etc. There is a nice communal kitchen area and also a terrace. Would love to stay here again when we visit Dubrovnik soon.

Incredible stay! Ivan and Kate are the absolute best! Ivan provides so much information to help you with your stay. Uber or bus to old town is super easy and cheap. Everything was very clean and facilities were great!

Villa Ivan ist ein besonderer Ort, hoch über Dubrovnik :-) und mit einem phantastischen Ausblick über die Landschaft! :-)) Die Gastfamilie ist sehr zuvorkommend, liebevoll und unterstützend in allen Fragen, die ein Tourist vor Ort so hat. Wir würden dieses Haus jederzeit wieder besuchen!

Wonderful stay! Ivan was very informative and his wife gave us some homemade cake. Rooms were very clean and had a beautiful view from the balcony.

Comfortable and clean room with a fantastic view. We enjoyed the privacy for a couple days but just bear in mind this isn’t a hostel so you won’t be making many new friends here.

Estuvo súper bien, Ivan es súper amiga le y te explica la ciudad y como moverte súper bien. Recomendadosimo. La casa está hermosa y muy limpia.

Definitely lots of stairs but the view is totally worth it! Once you figure out the bus situation it’s easy to get around. Room is simple but exactly what we needed. Thank you!

This hostel is amazing if you’re not looking for a crazy party environment. It is close distance to the old city, however the only problem would be the amount of stairs. This is definitely not for someone who does not do well with stairs. The owners are amazing, they provided us with loads of information to help navigate the city, they shuttled us to the airport, they helped us order takeout, and overall were by far the best hostel staff I’ve had. I highly highly recommend this hostel.

Great place. Amazing view. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful, and told me everything I needed to know and even bud routes, restaurants. Place is clean and has a cool view. Highly recommend staying here

La habitación es hermosa y limpia, la ubicación es buena y está bien conectada con buses y otros transportes. Los dueños son muy amables y siempre están disponibles a cualquier duda, realmente recomiendo ir, es precioso.

Villa Ivan is great. The room is well set up and clean, the bathroom clean, the balcony added a lot to the stay. Ivan goes out of his way to help and advise his guests, and is a stellar host. The location is workable (25 minute walk to the old city, near a couple of bus stops) but the buses aren’t that frequent. Not a dealbreaker at all but something to keep in mind.

Friendly owners, very helpful. Location is far from old town (30min walk) but there is an easy bus service to use. Benefit of being far away from old town - the view! Stunning views every sunset that meant you didn't want to leave. Would stay here again, or recommend to friends visiting Dubrovnik.

Everything was great. We feel very fit now thanks to all the stairs in Dubrovnik. We appreciated the pickup at the airport. We love Villa Ivan and the hosts. Bonus points for the amazing view from the balcony.

Absolutely wonderful! Ivan and his family were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help us, ensuring we had a great time. The bed was SO comfortable and the room was super clean and spacious. 30min walk to old town or 5€ Uber ride. Would stay again! Thanks

Great place a little out the way but only a half an hour walk to the old town or so. Very clean and very helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind a bit of a walk
