Tillett Gardens Guest House

The staff here are awesome from the moment you walk in till you leave they are kind and welcoming! Tillett gardens has more to it than you think with live music, restaurants, cafe. If you are traveling to the VI this place is priced lower then anything around the area great location to get to the ferry and beach’s all the taxis no where it’s at there is a bus stop in front.

A hidden gem.

This place is not just a hostel it’s an entire community! Loved the vibe, I am so grateful that I found this treasure of a place, the staff and other travelers I met here made my stay so amazing. Also love that I didn’t need a car here, everything is so conveniently located and the staff are so so helpful. The bar and restaurants on the property?? Amazing!!

Great place. It was low season, but still enough action. A little out of the way but it didn't cause problems. Interesting people and conversations.

I would rate it 100 if I could. The staff, especially Dominica, the atmosphere and the food. cant go wrong with this place. Its definitely a GEM. Thank you for your existence. I felt safe and had a really good time when I wasnt out exploring the island.

I loved staying here!! The bedrooms are clean, the gardens were beautiful, the owner was super friendly, the restaurants are great and everyone on the island knows exactly where this place is located, so getting around is super easy! As someone who’s really big into Solo travel, I really appreciated this place since it let me experience all the fun parts of the Virgin Islands without having to go on a full-blown expensive vacation! I will definitely be staying here again next time I come :)

Atmosphere is great. Met some wonderful people and enjoyed the venue/music below. Safari bus East goes right by hostel, safari bus west can be caught at Kmart, 10 min walk. I’d recommend adding more hooks in the rooms to hang towels and wet clothes and putting some cleaning products in the kitchen for guests to use. Enjoyed my time here!

They don’t care at all, had to ask twice for pillow and towel, haven’t seen the cleaning lady in 4 days, imagine the bathroom smell

I had a great time at Tillet Gardens because of the other friendly guests. The place isn'tsupermodernbuthaswhatyouneed.Girls dorm is in the space with the kitchen/common area, and one bathroom is outside the room, so at time it felt unsecure walking out after a shower. Also, lots of not working lights, so we walked around scavenging bulbs from the common area. The buisnesses thay share the courtyard are cool but overall location is kind of a pain as you need a cab ($$) to get almost aanywhere.

Friendly staff, nice bar and food

Best (and only) hostel in the USVI. A cute retreat with a good bar/restaurant attached. Very friendly staff and people. A recognized property on the island for all taxis or safaris. Great location on the island. I personally had a quiet stay but I didn’t mind. Will definitely stay again!

awesome atmosphere, on site restaurant and bar, live music Thursday thru sat, great staff, safari buses right outside to get u to the beaches and to st. john for more beaches. they do stop running early so keep that in mind, about 5 ish. taxis are always available.

Fabulous gardens, relaxing environment and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!
