Hostel CC Portimao

There’s only 2 bathrooms. Toilets are inside the bathrooms. Usually a long wait to use the toilet if both showers are occupied. Place was tidy but not clean. Same standard as a boys share house. Had to ask for toilet paper to be restocked multiple times. Felt more like a share house than a hostel with lots of long term accommodation. Staff were friendly.

What I didn't like: The decor is completely bare, sterile, and cold. The blanket was too thin, some lamps and locks were broken, bathroom wasn't Clean. No clear reception hours: After arrival, I stood at an unattended reception desk for 30 minutes. Depending on which employee you check in with, you get different information and keys (I got one for my room, my neighbor didn't). The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Zero atmosphere; I didn't feel comfortable.

I had an excellent stay at the Hostel CC Portimao. The property itself was very nice and felt homey. Its location is convenient as it’s very close to several grocery stores, restraunts, the skateboard park, and more.

Great hostel in a optimal location in Portimão. The bathrooms and rooms are clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, which makes the overall atmosphere in the hostel very pleasant and welcoming. I felt super comfortable there and can definitely recommend it :)

Happy with the managers Juju and Steve and cleaning staff on maintaining a decent semi detached dwelling and with providing information and socials for a pleasant stay. Every level has a washroom but kind of hoping there would be more to suit the bed capacity. Nearby malls, supermarkets within walking distance and pretty close to the old town area as well for some exploring of Portimao. Bicycle rental in house is also a pleasant bonus! Would love to visit to stay again!

Overall great hostel with a Nice and clean kitchen. Very crowded rooms and few bathrooms

The building has been renovated recently, but that doesn't mean it's great. It lacks maintenance and it's a bit raw still. Even though there were always someone cleaning, multiple times a day, the bathrooms were always a bit dirty (maybe because there are only two for 20-30 people or whatever is the maximum capacity) and it lacked places to put your stuff during shower, not even a towel hanger. The rooms were alright, it had ac (which was turned on at 25ºC some nights, which doesn't make any se...

Staff was incredibly nice but the bathrooms were disgusting, beds uncomfortable and squeaky, and overall not a very nice place. No comfortable areas to hang out. Loved the staff - disliked the hostel.

I didn’t have a good experience. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. There are few bathrooms and they are extremely dirty. The air conditioning in the room doesn’t work, and at night the staff close all the windows, so with no air circulation it felt like a sauna. However, the staff are very kind overall. The room is small and the space between the beds is very tight. I wouldn’t stay at this place again.

I had a great stay in the hostel. I must admit that not having the door keys felt a little weird but everything went well. The receptionist was amazing very client oriented, smiling and helpful I'd definitely recommend.

Very nice hostel, the receptionist was very kind, the bathrooms were new. It was overall a very good stay. We booked a only female room, but the day before we arrived we received a email saying that the room was under maintenance, and that if we could stay in a 8 person mixed bedroom. We did not want to stay in a mixed bedroom so we asked a full refund, when we did they said the room was actually okay and we could sleep there, bringing unnecessary stress. But overall a good stay would recommend.

Good for the location

El número de teléfono que figura en la app de hostel world no es el del local, por eso llamas y no atienden. No hay personal las 24 hs, por lo que si llegas tarde, después de las 21 hs, debes coordinar para ver si te esperan o no podrás hacer el check in. Tampoco te permiten cocinar después de las 22 hs. En las habitaciones de 8 personas el espacio es chico para las 4 camas dobles que meten, y pequeños las taquillas para guardar las pertenencias. El duchero del Primer piso no tenía sopor...

The hostel staff was nice and very helpfull. The hostel looked nice and moderen.
