Chakra Runa Hostel doesn't exist anymore. There is no hostel at Guadalupe 459 that used to be Chakra Runa. There is a hostal at Pasaje Cutervo 129a that appears to be called Estacion 311. Pasaje Cutervo is not a street but just a sidewalk. Herbert the host is friendly and took 4 guests to a local festival. But it took 10 minutes of knocking to get let inside the first night and the facilities are just ok. The dormroom is crowded and the private has to share the bathroom, which wasnt very clean.

It's a warm place to stay, and the staff is always willing to help. It is highly recommended when traveling to Cajamarca.
nice stay in a family house.
I had a great stay in this hostel. The room was cosy and spotless, good kitchen facility with all the utensils you need. The shower was hot and the location was great for walking into the centre of the city or catching a combi to Otuzco or Baños. Herbert and Silva are very kind and welcoming, and helpful if you have any questions. 10/10!
