Great hostel staff, good location.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in after travelling a number of times, very chill but you can still go party if you want, after a couple days it felt like a family.

Amazing hostel, very chill. The best part is definitely the staff and the atmosphere. Special mention to PRECIOUS, the best of the best.

Good facilities, rooms are clean, fridge and hob are so useful

Decent hostel, clean beds, more chill vibes. No social events like some other hostels. Needs a bigger kitchen and an extra burner stove for the amount of people using the kitchen.

Loved it! Amazing atmosphere, great common area, nice location and very good dorms! Would recommend :) The only downside is the lack of hot showers, but you don't really need them.

Best Hostel in Siargao - trust me. I kept extending as this place has such an intense vibe. The common area fits perfectly for socialising. It feels like a small family there and people just dont want to leave. Mr. Lee was a amazing host!! I will miss all of the people 🙏

Very social hostel, super easy to make new friends due to a very nice atmosphere. Not at all a party hostel but you would still find people to go out with. I extended my 2 nights stay to 2 weeks, which the very friendly owner made possible by always finding some more space even when it was getting tight. Shout out to Larry who would organize trips, prepare family dinners and always make sure that everyone feels included!

i loved my time in the sunset surf hostel. the staff (larry and lee) were very welcoming and helpful. the location is in the quieter part of town but not too far from everything. the cats were very cute!! the vibes were definitely social and great for solo travelers. i love that there’s yoga mats and even a gym nearby!

Stayed in lots of hostels but this one is probably my favourite. The vibe is just awesome, so relaxed, friendly and fun. It’s super clean- amazing staff and Larry is an absolute legend - looks after you with whatever you need, cooks amazing food and is a great human. Could not recommend more highly. we stayed 6 nights here and had a great experience! there is shampoo in the showers and towels included which are a great touch. it is constantly being cleaned and it has a great common area and kitchen. the volunteer, larry, is an absolute 10/10 guy and cooks a huge traditional filipino family dinner every few nights. both he and mr. lee, the owner, will make you feel right at home. i got a gash on my foot and mr. lee went out right away and came back with heaps of med supplies! they have 🐈t...

Was definitely one of the best hostels I stayed in Siargoa, Larry was a legend and made us dinner and food more then once, I offered him money and he refused, he’s a legend, good vibe, good energy there and super helpful, really went out of his was more then once, we all sat and played cards together with the hole hostel, I really enjoyed my time here. The owner of the hostel even shook my hand and checked me in, got nothing but respect for the owner as proper here, such legend.

Best hostel I have stayed in my life so far! I booked it for 3 nights and I ended up staying 12 days. Rooms are spacious, staff is constantly cleaning the toilets and cleaning the common spaces and the vibe is amazing. It is not a party hostel but a place extremely social which also give you space to be alone if you want. Larry, the volunteer,definitely made a difference in the overall vibe, great chef and amazing person.

I really enjoyed my stay. The team is incredibly friendly and help you with everything you could possibly need. They've created a very welcoming, family-like atmosphere at the hostel. It's a great place to socialize, but you can also easily find peace and quiet when you need it. The accommodations are superbly equipped and offer everything you could possibly want. I would definitely love to be back!

We stayed for 3 nights and extended our stay another 2 nights because we loved it so much. We tried to extend again but it was fully booked! Such a great hostel which matches the glowing reviews. Larry is super helpful and friendly and cooks a great family dinner. It really has the family feel everyone describes.

I 100% recommend this hostel: the vibe is amazing, there’s a delicious and cheap weekly dinner cooked by the great Larry (he looks after everyone, absolute legend), the rooms are big and clean, and there’s a huge common area where you can do your own thing or hang out with other travelers… it’s honestly impossible not to have a good time here. There’s no hot water, but trust me (you won’t need it because it’s hot anyway).

I had originally booked this hostel for just a few nights, and ended up staying for two months! Loved everything about it; rooms, bathrooms, and common area were always clean, aircon in the rooms worked well, great location (near Cloud 9 and other surf breaks, and a short drive into General Luna), and the best family dinners!! Met so many amazing people and made the best memories. Definitely recommend!

EXTEND EXTEND EXTEND - Yes, this is one of those places where you book for a night but extend for a week (or a month). The hostel has almost perfect setting for good vibes and socializing. I already had high expectations for the hostel, since I was heavily recommended to go here, and the hostel did not let me down. Atmosphere was great, facilities more than enough (including kitchen!), multiple hostel events, helpful staff. Only thing I'd mention is that the location is good, but not perfect.
