Hotel Il Papavero

No elevator, very small room, no common areas or food or amenities. Just a room. Very friendly staff. Many restaurants nearby. Main train terminal is a 5-10 minute walk.

If you’re looking for a cheap budget bed in Rome, Hotel II Papavero will suffice. Our room and ensuite were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable enough. We only stayed for one night and it served our purposes. The staff were friendly and available. However the wifi barely worked at all so if you are staying for more than one night that would be an issue. Would only recommend for budget traveller’s if it’s one of your cheapest options. Not a hostel so no social scene.

Very friendly staff 10+ . Simple, basic family room with fridge, but that was enough for us - everything worked well. Location good, 10 minutes from termini. Nice bar for breakfest near, also restaurants near.
