Very clean - loved the bathroom! Staff was very friendly, upon check-in a member of staff showed me to my room then gave me a map and starting circling areas to visit, highlighting where to get the best local fresh pastries - such a nice touch. Not far from the train station too. It's got more of a hotel-vibe to it, but its great location means I can just wander over to the actual hostels that have bars to socialise then return back here for a good nights sleep and a clean bathroom. Our host Alessandro was just genuinely lovely, super helpful and made us feel right at home. The room itself was great and was in a perfect location for us.

I had such a great stay! I showed up early and Alessandro came immediately to let me in. The room was very clean and big which was a relief after 2 weeks of very hit and miss hotels around Italy. The map of the area, wine opener, and espresso machine are such a nice touch. I felt very safe and it’s a very convenient place to stay to be close to the train station (5 min walk) and about 20 mins to colosseum or trevi fountain. Would highly recommend!

Ich kann das blue Hostel empfehlen! Es hat eine super tolle Lage! Man erreicht alles zu Fuß! Die Umgebung ist lebendig, aber in der Unterkunft überhaupt nicht wahr zu nehmen! Das Zimmer ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und sehr gemütlich! Ercole war stets erreichbar und sehr, sehr freundlich! It was perfect, beautiful, close to almost everything, and the rooms are so cozy.

Our hotel experience was fantastic. The location was great, our room was spacious, secure and cleaned each morning. But the staff at this hotel were second to none, namely Alessandro. He contacted us during the night when we had delays, arranged a taxi, was in constant communication and was just a phenomenal person. Our bags were lost in transit (still are!) and Alessandro gave me some of his clothes for my journey! He was so kind and I now consider him a friend. 10/10 experience!

Great location to stay for a couple nights! Really cool to stay in a 17th century convent with original roof. Not a typical hostel - felt more like a small hotel, there isn't a common "hangout" room or cooking facilities. The beds are ok, very stiff but seemed on par with the other places we stayed at in Italy. Shower is also very small. The hosts definitely make this place, providing a map with their recommendations and being available for questions!

Blue Hostel was a wonderful find in Rome! Ercole was really helpful and accommodating with our early check-out time. Our room was cozy, clean, and really nice--the bed was comfy, A/C worked well, bathroom/shower was updated very nicely. Though it was close to the train station, it was very quiet. Also, the location couldn't be better for us (we arrived/left via train) so we were a short walk from the Termini station and metro lines.
