One of the nicest hostels ive ever stayed in, in a must go location on the garden route. The host was the best I have ever had in a hostel so warm and friendly, she even made us dinner for free one night which is just amazing ! Highly recommend.

It was an Amazing stay. The owner was very nice and gave me a lot of advice and the structure was nice and clean.

The best hostel I have ever stayed in. The owner even cooked for all of us for free. I loved the occasional company by their Yorkie terrier. The location is close to shops of all kind. Absolutely marvellous experience. I recommend to set up a visible board where guests could offer to share their rental cars with others as I did on daily basis here. Besides that, it's a humble and marvelous place I enjoyed to stay in. 🇨🇿 P.S. Bring the owner a postcard from your home country if you can.

Ich fand das Hostel sehr familiär - Vinthi steckt viel Liebe und Fürsorge in ihre Arbeit und ist stets präsent mit ihrer liebevollen Art - sei es ein offenes Ohr oder selbst gebackenen Muffins, man fühlt sich bei ihr leicht wie zu Hause. Es war sehr sauber und auch eine wirklich angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist super, 5 Minuten vom Stadtkern mit Restaurants und Clubs.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in ensuring I had a great stay. The bathroom in the dorm was spacious and clean. There were plenty of nice amenities, too. Would stay again!

V was such a great host

This was my first time in South Africa from USA. This was a great one night stay in Plett. The check in was easy. The host was awesome. She even cooked soup and fresh bread and we all ate as a family. The place was clean. I parked my car and all was safe and secure. There is a nice beach you can walk to called Lookout. Check it out. You should stay here. I would come back.

very positive experience here. host was so kind and generous, she baked muffins to share, and helped us with our cooking with her wonderful flavours. location is a 5/10 min walk from the beach and 2 mins from the nearest shop. wasnt super social as only one dorm, and mostly private accommodations but it was such a relaxed atmosphere which we much needed. 10/10 reccommend as a place to stay in plettenberg as female travellers as very safe, and host provides a taxi as ubers not much used.

Mein Aufenthalt war absolut super! Alles top, bestes Hostel in dem ich bisher war. Super lage, extrem sauber und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und höflich. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen.

We were a group of 4 and we enjoyed our stay so so much! The room was wonderful and comfortable :) but the best part are definitely the owners! They helped us in every situation and they were so nice and kind! We absolutely loved that place!

Vinthi and Steve are wonderful guests, very careful and always keen to give you some advice or going on a drink with you. You can easily walk to the beach and lagoon and to the Main Street. Also, the beds are good and everything you need in a kitchen is provided. I would definitely recommend this hostel!!

Awesome, friendly, clean, well equipped, pleasant, comfy. Did I mention it's awesome? I found it one of the best hostels I went to in my life.

I had the most wonderful stay at Nothando backpackers! The place is well taken care of, cosy, close to the centre, has everything you need etc. Vinthi and her family are just THE BEST! She is so sweet and helpful. I really felt at home here and would go back anytime.
