Hostel DP Albufeira

Hello I wasn’t Allowed to stay here when I did reach the place and I am yet to get a refund for that

Our stay was overall a weird experience. The hostel it self felt more like a house with rooms. The atmosphere was very weird and kind of creepy. The bedding was super dirty, and the kitchen was almost unusable. The location was not really great either, with the hostel being located outside the city, we didn’t get to see Albufeira as we were on foot.

I had a great stay! Also, having a very large Inter-Marché supermarket so close to the hostel was very helpful.

Hostel occupé majoritairement par des hommes fin trentaine en montant et qui semblent d'origine Portugais. La personne à l'accueil ne parlait pas anglais, mais elle a utilisé google translate. La salubrité des lieux laissait à désirer, mais c'était passable. Il n'avait pas de casier pour tous et il manqué d'électricité pendant notre séjour. Nous avons contacté la compagnie a l'effet que nous ne nous sentions pas en sécurité là, sans retour de leur part a ce jour. En tant que femme...

No creo que se le pueda llamar hostel. Es una casa y en las habitaciones han puesto literas. Las habitaciones ni siquiera tienen llave, así que cualquier persona que se aloje allí puede entrar en todas las habitaciones. Las puertas de la entrada y del jardín suelen estar abiertas sin seguridad. La limpieza es pésima, los baños están súper sucios, ni siquiera usé mi ducha del asco que me daba el suelo. La chica de recepción se estaba haciendo las uñas cuando llegué y todo olía a esm...

Staff could be more professional and friendly

I would not recommend this hostel. A 35 minute walk from the city, nothing nearby the hostel. The outdoor gate and front door are just open during the day. The receptionist couldn’t give me any advice on what to see/do. The hostel was filled with 50+ year old men. There is no atmosphere at all for meeting people. It’s just a big house with some rooms, not really a hostel. No employees spoke English so communication was frustrating. No activities or recommendations. Bathrooms were nice though...

Very good quality/price. About 3 km from the center and beach, but is a nice walk or buses lines to do it. Very good kitchen. Nice house in a residential area

Uma boa acomodação para se hospedar em Albufeira. Satisfez minhas expectativas. As funcionárias do hostel são muito educadas, atenciosas e prestativas. A localização é próxima de um hipermercado e também possibilita uma breve caminhada até o centro comercial e a Estação rodoviária. Gostei muito dos dias em que permaneci no local e quando retornar a Albufeira será minha primeira opção em acomodação.

This didn't really seem like a backpacker/ traveller hostel, with the other people staying seeming older, and didn't really have a good atmosphere. No security- gate & front door left open throughout the day, the door to the dorm I was staying in was directly ahead of the front door, so people could walk in off the street and into the dorm.

Établissement qui n’évoque pas du tout l’ambiance chaleureuse d’une auberge de jeunesse. Nous sommes un couple qui restions juste pour une nuit et avions demandé un seul lit dans un dortoir mixte mais la gérante a mis un point d’honneur à nous faire payer 2 lits alors qu’on lui expliquait très bien que nous allions dormir dans le même…De plus, elle était gagnante, un lit de plus qu’elle pouvait mettre à réserver, pas les draps de 2 nuits à laver…Bref tout pour vous sou...

Had a really nice stay. Really clean and more like a house than hostel. I did however think it was silly that I got told I would be charged by the hour for waiting outside in the yard with all my bags after checkout while waiting for my bus.

Great hostel in a bad location. Cleanest hostel I've stayed in. Fabulous staff and atmosphere. Lovely relaxed environment. Very well stocked kitchen and good access. Just too far from the town and beach, 30-45 minutes walk. Overall had a great stay.

staff were wonderful. great kitchen and pool. my issue was distance from good area and how the room status was. It was super hot in the room and the room was right next to the kitchen and dining area.So much noise made it hard to sleep!

Excelente atención, tiene un supermercado cerca. Limpio, ambiente tranquilo. Recomendable

O hostel estava reabrindo para o verão então algumas coisas ainda estavam bagunçadas. O quarto estava limpo e tinha ar condicionado quente. Cozinha bem equipada e banheiros e áreas comuns estavam limpos. Apenas dois lockers tinham chave, e eram pequenos para um mochilão. O hostel estava vazio então não sentimos uma vibe de hostel ou socialização. Talvez na alta temporada.

Strange atmospher for a hostel but really cheap. Ot is nice if you just want to sleep there is a nice kitchen aswell. I discovered it after but it is close to the portuguese city center not the tourist one

The place is really nice, mor than what you expect por 20 euros bed. Also the staff is nice but concider that the location is not confortable so you will have to take ubers to go to the beach and for going arround. So if you choose it for the price, be aware you will sped money on trasnfers
