We LOVED it here! Stayed an extra 2 nights!! Our host was so kind and lovely. She ensured we knew where the quickest way to the beach was, helped with our laundry, and provided local support when I needed my bike fixed. The location (near the town), WiFi and AC for the price was worth it!
Very comfortable room with great AC and en-suite with good shower pressure. Great host and nothing was ever any trouble. Highly recommend for an excellent budget stay.
Clean, cheap and nice staff. Ended up staying over one week. It takes 7 minutes to walk to El Tunco bar/restaurant erea by the big road. There is a small kiosk just acros the hostel.
Private room was clean and comfy, good AC.

It’s little bit far form the city center but there is a shortcut to the beach ( just go straight hostal street to the ocean) kitchen is not the best equipped, but there is drinking water and ac.

The place is very dirty (walls, doors, windows, pillows..) and the bathroom smells terrible at night time. Don't know how other rooms were, our room was n°3. Maybe for the owners that level of dirt is normal cause probably they're used to it, but honestly the price is too much for that poor quality. The front street is dirty as well, as the rest of this area of El Tunco. I would avoid staying here.
Friendly staff, nice room with AC
Great place to stay! The family is extremely welcoming and friendly. The only issue is that it is a decent 15 minute walk into the heart of town. On the map it looks quite close but we did not realise there is a creek in the way and you have to walk along the busy highway to get into town.
