Rova Hostel

I had a very good stay at Rova Hostel, it was very cosy, and the terrace was really the highlight! The two cats are adorable and the two landlords are very kind and accommodating :) would recommend!

I really wanted to give a better score tbh. The owners Hüseyin and Martina are such kind hospitable people. The hostel is in a good location close to the city I had 3 good nights sleep in a warm room (it was January and snow was on the ground) and the single beds were much appreciated. However the mixed dorm had a bathroom door which you could only close using brute force. The kitchen was often cluttered with pots half full of food and generally everything has a half finished feel about it.

Hüseyin and Martina were really warm and talkative people, their approach to guests is excellent, the hardest part of our accommodation at this hostel was heating system, because there is no heater at the room, during night time (especially 00.00 - 05.30) walls of the room expanding cold as waves through the room, we were feeling frozebites on our body parts which is outside of blanket, there was an A/C in room but it's not efficient , for summertime visit i highly recommend as affordable price...

The stay in Rova Hostel was super great, especially because the host is super great, friendly and can provide nice recommendations for the city! If I go to Mardin again I will definitely stay there again!!!

Had an amazing time at Rova, Great location just a little off of the old town main street. Huseyin and his family are super helpful and more than happy to talk about the area, culture and local attractions.

I had a really good time in Rova hostel. I could relax, rest and work easily. Enjoy the city and meet people. Hussein, the owner, is very very kind and helpful, always ready to share a meal or a talk! Rooms are big and beds comfortable. The only little thing, maybe it’s just missing a community area inside. There is a beautiful terrace on the top but when the sun is beating it’s impossible to stay. Thank you so much! :D

Appreciate Rova Hostel offering a backpacking friendly option in Mardin. The location in Old Mardin is good with all touristic sites within walking distance. The common spaces were kept clean and furnished with all utilities needed. Great additions are the amazing rooftop terrace. Thank you to friendly and knowledgeable Hüseyin for hosting!

It's very comfortable to stay here, and it's very clean. It's very convenient in the old town. The owner is also very nice. I lost something here, and he helped me communicate with the police. I didn't expect to find it back, but I didn't expect it to be found. It's really great.
