Very minimal hostel, but clean and has what you need for a short stay. Comfortable beds, good lockers, surprisingly nice bathroom and shower. (The fridge could use to be cleaned out more often, though.) Friendly staff and other guests.
Really enjoyed it here. Perfect location in Dilijan, close to the supermarket and restaurants. The hostel is well run and our hostel volunteer was incredibly generous with his time, giving us tips for our time in Armenia and helping us understand some of the history of the country and region.
Truly a labour of love this hostel, it is clear a lot of thought and care has been put into everything. Really nice environment to relax and meet likeminded people. Comfortable bed!
Smallest hostel I’ve ever stayed at, I was the only guest but I’m guessing if it’s fully booked it can get really crowded. The fridge didn’t have any space for me even though I was the only guest. It does the job and the location is great but it’s not the most comfortable and the kitchen is kind of a hazard (very old pan that get really hot, gas stove that’s hard to turn on…)
Klasse kleines Hostel, sehr nette Eigentümer mit guten Tipps. Super sauber!
Hosts are super kind and the home is so cute! Everything has its own place and there are clear instructions for everything. There is a very positive atmosphere there and sensoe of calm. Tena and Tom are perfect hosts, they provide information and are always available. We definitively suggest at least one night in this peaceful place!
They’re the sweetest couple! Have been travelling for the past decade and this is one of my favourite hostels, all thanks to the lovely hosts
Owners are great people, wicked hostel to hike and meet new people. Loved my stay
Excellent place. Very well run and a good place to meet people. They provide lots of information.
Great location and lots of information on hikes to do in the area!
It’s a nice and clean hostel , I stayed there for 2 days, They will be friendly and helpful if you are their guest, but they are very strict about the check in and check out, they won’t allow you in the common area even though it is empty and no one else is staying there. I only needed to sit down somewhere for an hour before my bus, there wasn’t anyone in hostel but they wouldn’t allow me by stating they are expecting guests which I really doubt. this is pretty uncommon in anywhere in t...
Very nice little hostel with comfortable beds and all you need. The owners are very friendly and will help you with anything you need. During the time I stayed we were only four people in the hostel, but I can imagine if it is fully booked (10 people) could feel a bit too crowded. Also, the bathroom is a bit far from the room, but nothing you cannot live with.
Really cute little hiking hostel. The owners are really lovely. Because pf the small size its super easy to meet people. Only downside is there is only one bathroom and one toilet, but luckily wasn’t a problem in my stay.
great place to start some hikes, owners are very helpful
Friendly, comfortable and excellent location
We stayed for 2 nights and very much enjoyed it! There's lots of information available on trails around and staff as well as volunteers are very helpful. Supermarket is 5 minutes walk so you can prepare your own meals in the kitchen. Only downside was that the inside common area is very close to the room so you need to be a bit more quiet.
I had a great stay at Dilijan Hikers Hostel. Everyone working there is very friendly and the owner is one of the cofounders of the Transcaucasian Trail. He is a wealth of knowledge about hiking in the area and Armenia in general. The beds are brand new and everything is clean and tidy. A nice view over the valley from the kitchen area as well. I would definitely stay there again next time I am in Armenia.
Perfect place to stay. Cleanest room and bed I have seen. The owners are super nice. Best Hostel in Armenia !
Awesome place. Great atmosphere and vibe. The bunk beds are very comfortable and the atmosphere is great.
This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! The views are fantastic, the hardwood floors are beautiful, beds are comfy, everything is very clean, it has a homey feeling, great kitchen/hangout area with a fridge and coffee/tea, close to groceries and cafes. The owners are very lovely and they give great recommendations about hikes (or see the map on the wall). I loved it here and added an extra night and miss it already!
