Wild Bee Hostel

Absolutely loved this place. The location is incredible! Right by the jungle, so peaceful and unbelievably beautiful. Everything felt very special, from the atmosphere to the surroundings. I would definitely come back.

This hostel is honestly one of the best i’ve ever stayed in. The facility is amazing, rooms are so cozy and clean. And the balcony with the view is stunning, i’ve never stayed at a place like this. Also the staff are the most loveliest people. I really recommend, coming and staying here.

Great hostel if you already know people but I didn’t think it was a very social hostel otherwise. Beds and rooms clean and comfortable with a great view!

Whilst this hostel is expensive it is definitely worth it. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, there’s lots of daily activities and the views are absolutely outstanding. It’s a bit of a steep walk to and from the hostel but definitely worth the money!

It was a nice stay and the hostel itself is sooo great. Amazing view, sitting in the nets. The staff were also really nice, helping me out wherever they can! The loss of 2 points from the perfect score however was definitely the vibe. It was a very weird vibe at times even and not really social at all. The hostel does host some activities but if only 2 people attend… the staff also could promote more togetherness in the people that stay there/they should hire some volunteers

Must stay in Sri Lanka! Very luxurious hostel with amazing food and exceptional staff. Thanks so much to Ravindu and Madushka for making our time here so enjoyable. Will definitely stay here next time we visit Ella.

This is a very nice hostel in Ella. The rooms are very clean and the common areas are both good for those who want to socialize and those who are looking to just relax.

Wouldn’t recommend. Poor communication from staff regarding hostel activities, transfers, and honestly just anything. The care level appeared low. My electricity socket in my bed didn’t work and the one bathroom for 7 beds was constantly wet as there was no ventilation, floor drain or exhaust fan. Food was average and expensive for what it was, I paid $7.5 AUD for a coffee with oat milk.

The hostel is really nice. The beds are comfy, you have a great view over the sunset and everything is really clean. The hostel isn’t quite social. There are some planned activities but you don’t get any information about them. One time the guide for the sunrise hike didn’t even show up and we went on our own.

Awesome hostel, the food here is amazing, the rooms are unreal, the staff are friendly, location is good, it's a tough walk up hill but worth it once you arrive. very clean and would like to visit again on my next trip

So cozy, and the view from the dorms and my bed was amazing! Close to city center, easy to get a Tuktuk and also the hostel is very helpful with transportation. Great food at the hostel and also in the city. Would definitely go again!

Really enjoyed the stay. It was far enough away from the business an noise of the main part of Ella town, but only a short walk down the hill to the fun of it. The views are insane as well.
