All in all it's a nice hostel with a great location. However, we felt like they aren't finished building the place and there is no real chill area. It is really clean though and has a lot of space. Its also nice that the showers and toilets are outside the room. I didn't like that I wasn't able to store my stuff in a closeable room. The staff was nice but wouldn't talk to us by themselves.
Great hostel Not super social but I still met people. It’s really good value for money. The breakfast was also amazing
Nice location, great cheap price, and clean and safe. Plug, lights and curtains on the bunks, locker below which they give you the key for. Only gripe is that it is not that social. We spoke to people in the rooms but no bar or really a well used common area. The roof top is nothing, but does have some drying lines, I asked to use them they said ok. Then 5 mins later I was told to take my washing down by someone else. Not a problem but tedious to get mixed messages. All in all I would come again
This hostel is super central to everything in Ella, both main street and trail heads. Whilst not the most social hostel, it is a comfy place in a great location
Really big comfy beds and clean toilets and hot showers. In a good location just away from the main busy road but close enough that everything is a quick walk away. The staff were very kind friendly. There were loads of people staying but didn’t really see anyone if they weren’t coming in or out of there rooms so not a crazy atmosphere tbh. But perfectly good for a few nights stay in Ella.
Comfortable stay at this hostel, we were in the 10 bed dorm, the beds were comfortable and I liked how they had curtains so you had some privacy. The hostel is in a very good location right in the city centre so it’s close to lots of activities. Note that it is by a road so vehicles passing by can be loud but personally this didn’t bother me much. Staff were friendly and attentive, booking us a taxi for our next place and serving nice food. Thank you

Correct, but too noisy, the room are not soundproofed, and the road is right next to it... However, the bedding is very good
I loved to stay here. The staff was really sweet. The dorm was also good. It was a big bed with a curtain, little light and a charger. Each bed also had his own bagspace which is also really nice. The shower had hot water which was amazing. Haven’t had such a hot shower here in Sri Lanka then at Eyeful hostel. I find the Location perfect. Great place to stay, the location is also great. The bunk beds are comfy, with curtains, plugs and lights next to each bed. The bathroom is a bit inconvenient since you have to leave the room and walk across the dining area to shower, it looks also a bit sketchy. There wasn't really any social atmospehrre since the place is still new and we were just 2 people in a 10 bed room. There is still room for improvements but I really recommend this place!
Overall a very good hostel, facility could be more cozy and organized for travellers (no hangers, shelfs) but is clean and the staff is very nice! Value for money highly adviced!
die Unterkunft ist in Ordnung, aber das OG befindet sich aktuell noch im Bau, das sollte man evtl. wissen. Die Betten sind gemütlich und die Duschen warm. Das Personal ist auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Although it was not the season and there weren’t many other travelers the employees made it a special stay. Can totally recommend!
L’auberge est hyper bien située, à mi chemin entre le centre ville et les activités touristiques. Elle est en travaux mais pour définir quelque chose de sympa je pense ! Les dortoirs sont spacieux, les lits ont des rideaux, et les espaces communs sont propres et pratiques. Peu d’ambiance car peu nombreux mais je m’y suis sentie bien !
It was Clean, place is in perfect place, the guy Vinod was good. . . .. The only thing i should say the provided me a blanket which was very short. i asked them but they said their boss providesa small blanket only. i felt very cold during night time. The blanket should be better.
So there are not that many people which can be nice as you will have a very good sleep. But the hostel is pretty new and just doesn’t have much reviews yet and I think that’s why they don’t have that much people staying. Also on HostelWorld there are just 2 beds available and I think there is a mistake in there online reservations l. We told them but not sure if they understood. They are so so friendly and it’s so safe. They take care of you so well and are very kind. The bed was nice ...
Not really a social place with activities but this place is an excellent value for money. It has all you need, comfortable bed, pillow, hot water and is clean. The host is super nice and helpful
It's great- I really recommend this place! You'll be 5min from the main street, so you're quickly in the centre but far enough that you don't hear any noises from traffic or bars. The dorm room is spacious, the mattresses very comfy and big and the place itself very clean. Staff has been helpful with everything all the time. 10/10
