Good value for the money. Well located guest house that has everything you need and has some character. A little old, but everything functional and works. On the basic side, but inline with the price, even above expectations,

I would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Porto! It is centrally located, clean, comfortable, and has a great vibe! The staff was very nice, I felt like I was staying in someone’s expertly decorated home.

Pretty good hostel, Staff are nice enough, location is within walking distance to everything. Only negatives, the kitchen wasn’t the cleanest and it gets locked up from 8am-10pm so don’t leave your food in the fridge if you need to get it outside of these times.

Very nice people. If you hate checking in you must go find the desk manager but they are very nice. Breakfast for 5 euro definitely worth it. At night, almost got locked out and thought my key didn’t work, but was able to figure it o it-make sure you check this. Not the cheapest place but safe, secure and still a good deal.

Very nice and good value! They took a last minute booking. The property is beautiful and friendly to all ages. The free breakfast was also generous and delicious!

Short walk into town, quiet safe area, nice room and facilities, friendly staff

The location was good, able to walk to cool part of town in 15 minutes. The lounge area was nicely decorated, not many people to schmooze with when I was there. Got a private single room. Was clean and quiet. I found my mattress was on a tilt, so I tucked a blanket on the one side to make it better(only issue). Staff were nice and helpful with some of my needs as they came up.

I enjoyed staying at Porto Riad. Welcomed by very nice staff. Thank you Sara! They made me feel like I am at home. The building is clean and, of course, it is in a safe and convenient area. The room is nicely decorated, clean and had a television and bathroom. I liked Porto Riad during my 6 day stay.

La atencion ha sido exquisita, la habitacion es amplia yaparte de estar todo muy limpio, las toallas y los jabones van incluidos en el precio. No esta lejos de la zona centrica y volvería alojarme en este Porto Riad sin ninguna duda!!

Great stay. lovely and peaceful. I was able to check in early which was great. Booked a private room which shared a bathroom with one other room. Bed was comfy. Hotel lovely and quiet.

I am a solo female traveler and I booked one night here last-minute and it was the best decision I made during my stay in Porto. The staff were very nice, the room was clean and included towels, and the place was very quiet in the evening. I couldn't believe how good the quality was for the price. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again next time I'm in Porto!

Many small details made the experience quite medium. - the club on the other side of the street : people yelling in the street from 4h30 am to 7am! - there was no light in the staircase to go to our room - the comfort of the bed was medium - there was no socialization in the commun area, it felt like an old empty museum - the welcoming was a bit weard, we did not felt welcomed in to an hostel, more like a cheap hotel - there was no air circulation in the room

The hostel atmosphere was pretty relaxed and quiet. Nice common areas (inside and outside) for relaxing. The location was very favorable for our planned activities and travel schedule. The kitchen is closed during breakfast time (hot water kettle access allowed) and only couple pots or pans available otherwise. At time of booking the info stated there was a parking space available at the property - this is not true (or translation problem). but there is a nice garage across the street at 10E...

I had a single room. The room and bathroom were clean and good. The hostel is quaint and cozy. The kitchen has room for improvement in terms of cleanliness

A modest place at a modest price. The staff was lovely, but the place could use a bit of a renovation. Unfortunately our bathroom's extractor didn't work, so the experience was tricky in terms of getting the smell and humidity out.

Staff was amazing, really 100 stars. Atmosphere really warm and cosy, great theme and well decorated - not cheap but nice things. For me the bathroom (especially the shower and the shower curtain and rail) and the bed and cubboard in the room would need an upgrade, therefore I found it somewhat expensive. Also the kitchen would need a definate upgrade in look and equipment and it was a shame that the kitchen could only be used as of mid day. But, all in all, I would surely come back.

Top für Solo-Traveler, ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, hat genug Platz für das Gepäck. Die Lage ist auch top, ausser das ein Club nebenan ist und es ziemlich laut werden kann. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

Porto Riad is very cozy and well-located, and all the staff was amazing. It is an older building that has a lot of small rooms, but it is really comfortable. For the price you pay it's really great. In my case, I had a private room for two people, and when I arrived they told me they had to move us to a smaller room because of a plumbing problem. The room was still private, so we didn't mind, and they gave us the breakfast for both nights to say sorry. The room was smaller but still super comfo...
