It’s quite far from Galway. If you don’t have a car you have to buy a ticket for the bus (only cash or online not with credit card) and it’s not cheap and ask the driver to pull you off in front of the hostel. It’s not very clean (you’ll find spiders and other insects in the toilets). No soap in the toilets. Late in the afternoon it’s not easy to sleep since it’s quite noisy.
Struttura molto pulita e accogliente, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Situata a 40 minuti di pullman fuori Galway , permette di visitare non solo la città ma anche paesaggi più suggestivi.
Première expérience d’auberge de jeunesse pour ma part donc je suis peut être un peu exigeante 😉 On a pris une chambre familiale avec SDB privée . La SDB est vraiment très petite il ne faut pas être trop grand ou trop gros. 180€ la nuit pour 4, ce n’est pas donné qd même au vu des prestations. Mais sinon les propriétaires sont très sympa et ça fait le taf pour une ou deux nuits.
Stayed here on Friday night before my hike. Lovely chat checking in, felt welcome. Very helpful if something happens. Location is brilliant if you love the beach, walk in the nature and coming here between the hikes. Also, tesco is only 4 minutes to drive if you need anything and the bus stops at certain times if you need to go to Galway. Feeling grateful ending up in this hostel, met some lovely people too. I would definitely come back here again. Thanks, Kristina

Fantastic. I never bother to write reviews but this hostel is something special. I wish that I had been staying in Connemara more than one night, because I'd have loved to stay here longer I stead of some of the other grotty places I've been.
Very good property overall with extremely helpful staff, and secluded place to store motorbikes.

Nice, peaceful location. We visited the Coral Beach and Galway from here, and there was a nice short walk to the ocean from the lodge.
It is a home away from home, fantastic staff, always available to help, very friendly, fantastic for money value. I recommend this place

Wahrscheinlich das beste Hostel in dem ich bislang war. Vielen Dank an die Mitarbeiter für die offene und sehr hilfsbereite Art, für jedes unserer Anliegen gab es eine schnelle Lösung. Ich freue mich darauf irgendwann wieder zu kommen!!
The staff were very chatty and available whenever we needed. Going so far as recommending a beach to visit. Our room was very basic, no hand soap, no hand towel in the bathroom. Door needed a good push to open. Wall was dirty and there was a funky smell even after airing room and leaving the window open. The bathroom door doesn’t open fully as it is such a small room. Probably a bit pricey for the services they offer and the place needs a makeover to match the amazing energy of the owners!
Great location, walk to the memorial on the beach and admire the majesty of the North Atlantic just outside your door. Cattle, horses and a very vocal donkey just across the street! John and Jason are incredible hosts with a wealth of knowledge. 💯 would recommend.
My favourite hostel I’ve stayed in! It was very cosy and relaxing, the hosts and everyone staying in the hostel were super friendly. The beach nearby was gorgeous and the bus in to town had amazing views. I’d absolutely recommend staying here :)
A great place to visit Connemara region ! It’s a cozy place We were in car, so easy to come and go. The host is super nice with great advices.
