Norman who managed the place is absolutely lovely. He is so welcoming and always super helpful. Location isn’t Ideal as it’s set away from most of the activities. But if you are looking for a quiet tranquil stay in a clean safe environment this is the place to stay

Banana leaf resort is a wonderful place in Gili. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very tasty. I can only recommend it. Norman & Sem have become great friends of ours, we would love to come back to you, thank you for everything, feel hugged by us. Leni & Stefan❤️

Fantastic! Such a hidden gem of a place, run by the nicest kindest people. The room was beautiful, excellent shower pressure, and great pool. Nurm the manager has a heart of gold! He invited us to eat delicious local food with him and his friends, and he got us excellent deals for a private snorkelling trip around the Gillis and Komodo cruise! We're loving our cruise and can't thank you enough Nurm. We will be back!!
