Bounce Melbourne

Genuinely such a great stay!! So easy to meet people and join the events they have on. The facilities are always so clean and well maintained, huge shout out to the housekeeping team! Big thanks to Harry for checking me in late at night and setting me up for my stay 🙂‍↕️ Can’t wait to come back!!!

Un peu bruyant avant minuit (car il y a le bar en sous sol, mais super pratique pour boire un coup et rencontrer des gens !) vraiment top, personnel cool et espaces communs très sympas ! L’emplacement est parfait

Pros Overall it’s a great place to stay for a few days. You’re right in the thick of it in Melbourne opposite the station and tram stops. Comfy beds and feel pretty private. Cons No soundproofing so the club in the basement echo’s until 1am. People in the corridors until late so bring ear plugs. The room smelt gross a lot of the time and needed a dehumidifier on all the time. Privacy curtain on the bed was broken. No shower gel in the bathrooms.

Great location right in the centre of the city and easily accessible to everything, right outside flinders street station. Communal area was nice and always room in the kitchen, nice and clean. Also liked the pods for calls and workspace. Staff were helpful. Only down side is the plug sockets didn’t hold well in the bed space. Also room felt a bit narrow and claustrophobic. Definitely stayed in worse hostels but not worth the money paid for it, as this is one of the more expensive hostels

Very squeaky bed which was slightly annoying but overall comfy. Good showers and enough toilets etc. Perfect location in CBD. Only tiny complaint is as it was sooooo cold over the weekend I stayed the AC, big fans and window all being open made it way too cold in the room so getting up was tough because I was shivering!

The location of Bounce Hostel is amazing! It’s very hard to get lost, and everything you need is within easy reach; supermarkets, parks, cafes, and more. The staff are super friendly. I had a chat with Rodo, one of the team members, and he was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great recommendations, which makes a big difference when you’re in a new city. In terms of cleanliness, I do think the rooms could benefit from a more thorough clean - I found bubble gum on the wall near...

Great hostel in a good location within Melbourne. Lots to do within the hostel with events everyday. Good storage in the rooms but I found the cabinet within the bed very large and would hit myself on it when I slept. However, it was nice to have the option to lock away your belongings. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities.

It was a great hostel! Met lots of people and all the staff were really nice! Shout out to Amelie for making me feel really welcome! The only thing is that the bathroom weren’t the best, didn’t clean the showers area and there were flys going around in whilst I was in there and it wasn’t a very social hostel.

My first time staying in a hostel and genuinely it was a 10/10! I slept amazing, the beds were so comfortable. The rooms were clean, the staff super helpful and friendly. The location just amazing. Honestly, I 100% recommend

Brilliant Hostel! Super clean, great facilities and great atmosphere. Nice mix of long and short term stay guests with great events. Paige and Amelie were super friendly and welcoming.

I had the best time at Bounce Melbourne, from the minute I stepped through the door after a long day of travel Paige was there to greet me with a smile. Every aspect of this stay was enjoyable, from the constant fun activities and bar crawls arranged by the staff to the very sociable environment. Made some friends for life here ! Thank you to all the amazing staff for making the stay some of my best memories in Australia

exactly what you need for a hostel. Lots around you, and easy transport to and from the hostel itself. staff are great, Paige you’re the goat

I could not be more happy with my time at bounce, and there’s only one reason for that: the staff. PAIGE, TAMINA, AMELIE, KEIRA and so many others that it’s almost hard to name. Absolute gems of people. If anyone ever asks where they should stay in Melbourne, I’ll always say, “stay at bounce, and tell the girlies I say hi 💅” -cob

Location is good, but very chaotic. Hostel itself was pretty good, loads of social events, but found the bath/restrooms very dirty (female hygiene bin was overflowing for my entire stay with flies coming out) and the kitchen appliances definitely need an upgrade. Other people loved it tho, so overall its pretty good.

Super nice to be in a dorm and have a single bed (not a bunk)! That makes this one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in in a while (2 of the 6 beds in our dorm were standalone so it’s luck of the drawer if you get one). The room was huge too, and I had enough storage which was great. Nice large kitchen / communal area and good location.

Paige and Emma hostel staff are the best ever. Such a welcoming vibe and the hostel is pretty social!!😁😁

Perfect location, super central/right opposite to the train station (although be cautious at night). Rooms were huge, big individual lockers and access to additional bathrooms. Very quiet room and hostel. Shower drains in the hostel room smelt bad.
