Garden Hotel Tralala

My partner and I had a terrible experience booking through Hostel World. They failed to inform us about the hostel's remote location, far from Amsterdam city center. We arrived in Amsterdam during a storm and had to walk 30 minutes to reach Garden Tralala, as there was no transportation available. Hostel World didn't mention this, but the Garden Tralala staff claimed they always send emails about the lack of transportation. Despite paying £145 (£29 + €116), we were disappointed.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay! Everyone was super friendly, the breakfast was a 10/10. You can rent bicycles there and the train stations to go to Amsterdam or Utrecht aren’t that far away. We found some spiders in our caravan, but that was to be expected :D Thank you so much!

A special place and unique experience, the magic is in all the little details. A cosy and memorable stay!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Design der ganzen Anlage ist so schön und mann merkt die Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück war grandios. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man zu Fuß 30 min zur nächsten Bushaltestelle braucht.

The place is very nice and the gardens are beautiful. we really enjoyed being there, in addition to the fact that the footing around it is very good and the nature is incredible despite the fact that it is not very far from the center of Amaterdam. congratulations to the staff who were always very friendly

Lovely magic place

In summer this might be a fantastic choice. But during the colder months it's nothing short of a nightmare. The rooms are unbearably cold due to the lack of heating. We had a barely functioning, small heater that could only be placed on the bed because of its short cord. Rooms are completely engulfed in dust. Minimal security featuring flimsy locks. After enduring a single night we had no choice but to leave as we couldn't find any warmth even when snuggled beneath a blanket with our belongings.
