GG Hostel

I had 3 night planned at this hostel and overall found the space to be clean and well-located. However I want to share with other travellers that I had an uncomfortable experience during the night. Between 2–3 AM, a staff member entered the female dorm multiple times without clearly announcing themselves or explaining the reason. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences of my life. Despite the friendly staff and good location, everything else was terrible. The photos are misleading — in reality, everything is old and shabby. The building is unfit for living: no windows, no sunlight, very damp, and the layout is unbearable. You’ll hear toilets flushing or people packing at 4 a.m. Lockers are inside rooms, and showers behind thin walls. This place isn’t for travelers — just a deceptive business. Stay aw...

generally very nice. when I stayed it was still very new and a lil rough around the edges with certain things but I imagine with time things will get there. very nice stay would recommend.

Had an amazing time here, staff were super friendly and accomodating, facilities were clean, and was able to meet some great people. Highly recommended!

This hostel is decent, does the trick for a place to stay, but it isn’t very social and it’s also pretty small. It’s not quite as nice as the photos but the rooms are good (nice beds, curtains, good lockers, etc.)

It wasn’t worth the €80/night, but I did feel very safe throughout my stay. Everything was clean, and the showers were modern. There weren’t any evening activities, and unfortunately, my roommates were eating and packing until 4 am. That said, the lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and welcoming.

I've stayed in many hostels around Europe, and GG Hostel is a must stay - the beds and rooms are so comfortable. It feels like a more high-end hostel for good value. Would stay again! I can't wait to see how it evolves and transforms into a great space as its still a newly build hostel so there is more to work on but overall the staff were very helpful and makes sure you enjoy your stay.
