MS Sparrow Hostel

Friendly host. Hostel is very clean. Good bed. A bit far from the center but the bus stop is just nearby, so it's easy to go to the center.

The hostel is very clean; although it’s a bit pricey for the location, the manager is very attentive as well as being a clean person, as he came in to clean the hostel every day. As for the atmosphere, it’s fairly normal – everyone minds their own business and nobody bothers anyone else. Overall, the hostel is very good, apart from the price for the location.

Hostel was very clean and all of the facilities were very new. The location is a little outside the city center though, so you'll want to take a bus or bike to get around.

A really modern and pleasant hostel! Was clean as well during my stay. A bit outside of the more central parts, would recommend the bus (line 6, 8 or 11 to Mercator, but none of them stop at the station, just downtown). Limited social space but it is also quite small, so you'll most likely fit everyone in the kitchen unless the place is fully booked. You won't see the owner much, but he's available on the phone if you need him.

I loved this hostel. My friend and I were going to be an hour late to check in due to our train being late, the man on reception, Denis, was incredibly kind staying an hour later to wait for us, two young females, which was extremely comforting. I felt very safe here, it is very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the dorm was a great size and with AC. The kitchen has good facilities, there are 2 lockers per person in the bedrooms and check out is at 11am which is great. Definitely recommend.

Très belle auberge de jeunesse, les chambres sont confortables. La personne qui m'a accueillis était très gentille. C'est à 30 mins de marche du Old town, mais c'est spécifié dans l'annonce et autour de l'auberge il y a quand même des restaurants et une épicerie. La seule chose décevante est qu'il n'y a pas de salon pour se reposer avec les autres chambreurs. Par contre, la cuisine est bien et elle est toute équipée pour cuisiner.

Guy at the reception was the coolest guy ever. really friendly and took care of the place. Very Clean and tidy. Rooms were also great. Very practical with two big lockers. Since the ac isn't very strong, opening the windows at night is recommended even though the road is fairly noisy. I had a great time.

Das Hostel hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Trotz der Lage, welche so 15 Minuten mit dem Bus vom Zentrum entfernt ist, war die Unterkunft sehr sauber und angenehm. Die Gegend ist ein wenig abgelegen aber der gute Service hat das alles wieder ausgeglichen. Der Eigentümer war total zuvorkommend und hat uns um 2 Uhr nachts einchecken lassen. Alles ohne Probleme!

This is a lovely hostel. Everything was very clean, the showers were good and the beds were really comfy. Great storage space for each person with locks on the cupboards, which not every hostel has! You’re not in the centre of the city but able to reach it easily-the traffic from the road is a bit noisy at times. It’s quite small and so doesn’t have much real community space, and doesn’t have laundry facilities, so best for a quick trip or if you’re quieter and not wanting the social a...

Très propre, personnel très gentil et accommodant. Le seul bémol (et pas des moindres !) est l'emplacement : c'est à 30 min à pied de la gare, donc à 40 du centre-ville... Je conseille malgré tout si vous ne trouvez pas mieux placé !

I absolutely loved this hostel. Very clean, peaceful, quiet, and considerate of their guests. There was no shortage of maps and information, and the receptionist was on point with his suggestions on things to do outside the immediate area of Ljubljana. If I find myself in Ljubljana again, I will be staying here. 10/10 hostel.

Cleanest Hostel I have ever stayed at. The reception is very nice and accommodating! Only thing is it is a bit far from downtown and can take awhile to get there (bus or bike/scooter quickest options). Not very social but a very nice chill place to end your day!

Brilliant stay very clean very secure

Great hostel, small and clean, only location is a bit so-so. You can rent a bike right next door so that's good.

Place is great. Very clean and chill hostel near some good places. You probably won’t meet many people there but it’s nice if you’re keeping to yourself
