Costa Gama Home Stay @ Fort Kochi

I stayed at Costa Gama for five nights and throughly enjoyed it. The location is great - walkable to the city centre within 15-20 minutes, quiet, there's shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are quaint and charming, decorated in an old style, clean and comfortable. Be advised that the rooms have no air-conditioning, only a fan - so months March through to May can be very hot. Beautiful homestay in Fort Kochi 👌 The house had a beautiful energy . Lots of wood and nicely decorated ! Benson is a really nice host who helps you with all your questions and requests . Nicely situated in a smaller somewhat more quiet street but close to all the nice places . Highly recommended

I stayed at Costa Gamma Homestay for 8 days and had a wonderful time. The hosts Benson and Shiney were incredibly warm and made me feel like family. I stayed over Christmas, my birthday and New Year and was truly spoiled, including birthday cake (s!) The room was clean and cosy with a lovely balcony. Great shared space, kitchen facilities and rooftop drying area. Excellent location, easy walking to all main sights. A genuinely caring and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend 💗

Benson and his wife were so kind to me during Christmas time!I was solo travelling and this was the perfect place to spend Christmas! When I arrived, as well as on Christmas Day, they provided me with Keralan Christmas cake and wine! As a backpacker, I was extremely pleased to have my own room for Xmas too. On Christmas day, they also offered me to join Christmas lunch, and my big regret was that I had already eaten!

Owner of this hostel was really kind and the location is brilliant. Beds are comfy and clean. However on hostel world it says there is AC when there is not. Also there was no hot water and no hand soap. For the amount they charge I would expect at least these basics.

A super place to stay in Fort Kochi. I felt super safe here (solo female traveller). The hosts were genuinely lovely caring people, and even facilitated my late check in plus gave me biscuits and fruit. Fantastic location. Great little kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. The only minor con is be aware it has no a/C or mosquito nets (if you want to leave the balcony doors open). Note however that the properly is priced accordingly. A huge thanks to Benson and Shiny for my stay at Costa Gama! The room is lovely, the facilities are excellent, the location is just outside of the action at Fort Kochi so there is a peacefulness about it. The hosts are kind, accommodating and made me feel at home.

The property is located in a central location in Fort Kochi, and the hosts are kind. That said, the washroom was quite dirty, especially the sink and mirror. The mattress is horribly uncomfortable, maybe about 3 inches in depth. Even as a lean individual I felt as though I was sleeping on the bedframe. No AC, which is fine, but at least remove the description of having AC rooms from the site. Maybe a basic amenity like hand soap could be provided.

We loved our stay at Costa Gama Home Stay and felt really at home there. The room was cozy with nice interior and there was even a little kitchen to use. Nice location & wonderful hosts! They were always up for a chat, some tipps and even arranged a wonderful boat trip for us! Can absolutely recommend :)

Really greagreat homestay. I was welcomed very openly anf tthr atmosphere was really great. My room was small but very clean with my own bathroom. I can really recommend it would come again.

Just the most perfect homestay! We only stayed for a night as we were flying out to Thailand but we will definitely stay again when returning to Kochi. The building is beautiful, traditional dark wood. The bed was comfortable and we didn’t feel like we were missing AC. Bathroom was clean and had everything we needed! Very good welcoming, in a quiet neighborhood. There is the bus 2 minutes away and some restaurants also. The only thing in our room was that the fan's speed cannot be changed, it's always at it's maximum, thus being noisya
