I had an amazing stay at Yumori Onsen Hostel! The staff was really kind and turned on the light every time I used the kitchen without even me asking for it. The kitchen and the dorm (female dorm) were really clean as well! And the common space has a really cozy vibe as well. I can also recommend going to the Onsen of the Hostel! On my last day, the staff arranged the free on-demand bus for me to get back to the station after checking out. I would definitely come back!
Located a bit of a drive away from Fukushima but still easily accessible, with buses heading to that destination leaving around every hour. The staff was very friendly, the facilities are well equipped and you can enjoy the onsen baths as part of your stay in the hostel. The little town is perfect for a weekend or few day trip where you can enjoy the peace and quiet in nature.
Pleasant stay in small Onsen town. Room was a bit musty at first but ok after airing out. Overall very good.
I could not have imagined a better place. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. I wish I could have spent more time here. It is definitely a place kind of in the middle of nowhere but that was something I was looking for. The staff is very nice and the nature is breathtaking
The staff is great! They really want you to have a good stay. The onsen is very nice as well. In the common area you can meet local people, which I enjoyed.
It was amazing!! The onsen was so relaxing, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, they even give you a map of places you may be interested in and it was nice exploring the area which is so relaxing and beautiful! The atmosphere was really nice! It was a great escape haha. They have rooms and hostels which is great for backpackers/solo travellers and it's affordable.
The whole town is really far from anything, although I suppose that’s part of the appeal. Otherwise, it was great. Staff were incredible.
