El personal muy amable!

Got eaten alive by bed bugs very badly & possibly something else, floors in common area & kitchen were not noticeably cleaned for a couple days in a row, dorm is separated by a curtain; expect noise & light Kitchen had one hot plate for one person to cook at a time, lack of storage and utensils, & no way to label your food properly Bathrooms were ok but the water for the shower was not separate so there were temperature issues every time. Lockers are not that secure with an open back to a wall.

I only stayed one night, but there was no hot water (it was in the evening when the reception was closed so no one to ask about it). The rest was OK, hopefully this was just a one time issue.

Bon hostel, même si l'intimité n'est pas le mot d'ordre. Il ne faut pas être dérange de dormir dans un grand dortoir, il n'y a pas de prise près des lits et les couvertures sont très fines. Mais l'accueil est très agréable, et la location est parfaite pour visiter Matera.

Zeer leuke hostel. Slaapzaal heeft wel veel bedden (18). Zeer propere keuken en gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte.

Un lugar increíble y la atención por parte de los encargados es única! sin duda volvería a hospedarme con ellos

Very good location and overall not that bad but the showers were full of mould and the kitchen wasn’t clean (but that’s the guests responsibility)

Bedbugs :(

Las camas o colchones estaban con chinches o algo similar , quede todo picado aunque a otros huéspedes no les pasó nada, a mi me quedaron muchas picaduras y dolor

I had a wonderful time in Matera and this hostel made my time there so easy and enjoyable. The staff were so kind in general and really generous with their time in explaining their town and region to me and where some nice places to go might be. Dining recommendations were great, also advice about beaches in neighbouring Puglia Prov. really made my trip in this part of Italy a beautiful experience. I am very grateful and recommend this hostel, its clean and orderly facilities to everyone.

Keine Steckdosen am Bett. Mein Bett war belegt als ich angekommen bin. Auf Rückfrage über Whatsapp hab ich keine Antwort bekommen.

Small but confortable to stay a single night and see the city like I did. Meet some nice people. The showers are ok, but the beds could use some curtains between them.

Todas las estrellas. Sin dudas Andrea y Rocco son unos anfitriones encantadores e hicieron que mi estadía se extendiera otro día más. Bien ubicado, lugar impecablemente limpio, Andrea y Rocco siempre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que necesites, la cama estaba cómoda. No hay mejor atención como cuando se es atendido por sus propios dueños. 💚

Heel erg fijn hostel. Heel erg gezellig, personeel verdient 10 sterren. Redelijk schoon, beetje oude maar complete keuken. Fijn, nieuw bed. Geen opladers bij de bedden, maar daardoor ga je met iedereen kletsen in de woonkamer:) Heel erg leuk, en Matera is prachtig!

Hostel is in a great location for exploring the sassi but it is a good 40min walk from the bus. No chargers near to the beds and it is just one room that everyone sleeps in which could be interesting when it’s busy! Easy self check in and good kitchen.

Ho trovato molto spiacevole che lo spazio comune (armadietti, cucina, tavolini, divani..) fosse nello stesso spazio dei letti per dormire perchè questo ha fatto sì che le persone entravano nello spazio ad ogni ora della notte, parlando ad alta voce, accendendo la luce, facendo rumore con valigie e armadietti e che questo disturbasse notevolmente il sonno di chi già a letto. Consiglio un miglioramento della gestione di questi spazi (almeno delle regole sull'orario per luci/rumori)
