Lisbon Calling

Lovely, characterful hostel. Full kitchen facilities, great bedroom and bathroom. Location great, just a 5 minute walk to the trains/trams to Belem and metro connections to airport.

Loved this hostel! I stayed in one of the double rooms that I had to myself and it was lovely, the room was HUGE! Great location with lots of stuff nearby, right next to Cais do sodre station and very lively at night My only cons were that the WiFi didn’t work everywhere, and the shower head was the type that I had to hold because it wasn’t mounted (minor lol but still didn’t love), and the bed was UNCOMFY like I could feel the springs digging into my body it was like landing on metal lo...

Everything is good, I love the hostel, it’s also my first hostel! Love the decor especially the bathroom. I toured Lisbon last night and love your city! The only thing I would change was to have AC instead of a fan but the fan was effective. Also, the front door on the street doesn’t seem to lock. The location is awesome.

We had a great stay here, the facilities are great and the location is pretty central. The only issue we faced was there is a washer in the kitchen, and when we tried to use it, it did not work and our clothes got stuck in it. I reached out and heard back 24 hours later saying we cannot use it. There should be a sign letting people know this / not to use it. Staff communication could be improved. I would still recommend it.

Overall very happy with our stay. We had a bad experience with the automatic (after-hours) check-in—staff were not available to help us even on whatsapp—so we would recommend trying to check-in when someone is there. Susanna was very friendly and extremely helpful when she was there in-person. Cleaning staff made coffee in the morning and the kitchen area is gorgeous. Sewage leaking through the wall!!! The bathroom had sewage water flowing through the wall, it stunk like grey water. The staff kept sopping it with towels. They were also suppose to change our sheets after 3 nights, they did not. They were suppose to supply fresh towels, they did not. The stink and humidity was disgusting and unsanitary. Do not stay here!!!!

Lovely, independent place. Really friendly and helpful staff, and great to have access to a kitchen. Location is great, very central.

Zimmer interessant eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe gestaltet-aber: Keine Möglichkeit Kleider o.a. unterzubringen, Matratze im Zimmer 1823 Kathastrophe, Bett/Tür/Boden quietscht und Lage im Lautesten Partyviertel von Lissabon. Ohne Ohrstöpsel Schlaf unmöglich. Zimmer überhitzt, lüften geht wegen Lärm nachts kaum, kein Van,keine Klim, kein Breakfast (trotz grosser Annonce in der Webside), 1 Toilette/Bad für 5(!) Doppelzimmer!! Vera ist jedoch sehr nett und versucht alle Probleme zu löse...

Great location and lovely hosts! In a cool old building which did mean loud creaky floors but lots of cool art throughout. Only downside was one bathroom shared between four suites which meant waiting for the washroom at times.

Great set up, I was in Our Room which really big, with a lounge area, 2 doubles, one on a mezzanine, and the cutest bathroom! Inside a stone cave! Very cool set up, fully equipped kitchen and neat vibe. I am travelling solo and felt really safe here. I didn’t see any other travellers , I think others were there, I was out all day and just didn’t see them! Location was awesome. Highly recommend all round

Enjoyed my stay. Cute place and perfectly located near pink street. I am not posting my dislikes as they may be specific to me only. You CAN get the door codes ahead of time if you are checking in late. That was not offered to me, but to another guest.

We loved our stay. The place was a very nice vibe and very well thought out interior design. We only stayed one night but wish we booked for longer. The staff were incredible, very helpful and easy to contact. The price is very low for the amazing quality of this place, would definitely recommend to anyone!

We loved our stay here! Our private room was very big, clean and had a beautiful view. The free breakfast on the littly balcony was very nice and the staff was so very helpful and friendly, thank you!
