Really nice host and nice house. Only annoying thing is the location, which is a bit far from the main area
Texpe (pronounced Chepe) is the owner, manager and his is assisted by Jenny. It is like staying with a dear family. Texpe is also a dive instructor and took me on two really wonderful dives. This is a very special place.
Best ever! Txepo is a true legend, all of the other reviews don't lie. We even got the room with aircon. We are coming back for sure!♡♡♡
We love this house! Txepo is such a friendly and kind host. It’s a beautiful house and clean room. Don’t be put off by the lack of reviews, the hostel name has changed recently, but actually had been running for 23 years with 5 star reviews! When I was Ill, Txepo offered free medication and checked up on me, he also booked us a scooter and helped us organise a spear fishing trip. Txepo is a wonderful, kind host. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Jenny makes a fantastic breakfast for 100pesos in the mornings 🌄 highly recommend.
Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit wirklich netten Gastgebern! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben spontan noch eine Nacht drangehangen. Der Hausherr hat sich super schnell darum bemüht, dass wir einen Roller zum Erkunden bekommen und außerdem waren wir mit ihm tauchen :-). Das Frühstück, was angeboten wurde, war auch super lecker und günstig. Zur Lage: Die Unterkunft befindet sich fußläufig etwa 15-20min vom Hafen und ist somit glücklicherweise viel authentischer! We had a wonderful trip with Txepo and his adorable cat. The place was a bit difficult to find but once we got there, it was one of our best experience in a hostel. Very simple but realy warm. If you pass by, please take time to discuss with Txepo, he's an amazing human being. Thanks a lot for welcoming us, and we realy hope to see you again. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei Txepo in dem schönen Haus! Er war super nett, hat uns viele wertvolle Tips gegeben und uns auch bei der Organisation eines Rollers geholfen, um die Insel abzufahren. Für nur 100 Pesos gabs sogar die Möglich ein leckeres Frühstück zu bekommen. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen und erinnern uns gern an die netten Gespräche mit Txepo und seine süße Katze! 😊
