Eines der besten Hostels, in dem ich je war. Ich hatte eine tollen Aufenthalt und war mit allem sehr zufrieden. Vor allem die Mitarbeiten waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer offen für Gespräche. Super Atmosphäre!

Great hostel for those travelling on a budget. It is at an inconvenient location, needing a microbus to get there from the city center (which is cheap and easily available at most times of the day, but you need to know how to get the right one). The hostel itself is quite spacious. I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom and the room was massive. The toilets are fairly clean given it is high season. very very clean and nice linens. this is a 2 star hotel at 1 star price, it's maybe the cleanest hotel I've stayed at for less than $9 USD per night. but location is far from city center, have to take public share taxi everywhere. staff is courteous.

El hospedaje esta bueno! El personal es amable y hablan inglés 🙏 . Aunque la ubicación no es en la mejor área de la ciudad , se encuentra cerca a los sitios de interés 😉 agua caliente y la cocina esta disponible, además del desayuno incluido. Volvería sin dudarlo.

IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS! David was an absolute gentleman the moment he collected me from the airport. He gave great knowledge on Aswan and the property was brilliant at such a steal of a price. Highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for everything David!

This is definitely for the budget backpacker, but David is an awesome guy!! Picked me up from the airport at 2AM, helped me organize a great trip to Abu Simbel, and gave me some great tips for getting around Aswan!

We loved our stay at David Hostel! Aswan has been our favourite city in Egypt so far, it is very beautiful and there is so much to do. If you are visiting Aswan on a budget I really recommend you stay at David Hostel. David organised tours for us at easily the best prices in town. The day tour of the city was a great way to see everything and decide where we would explore more. hostel was clean, we felt very safe, and the bathrooms even had hot showers. Coffee in the morning was also very good!

Very friendly staff that help you with everything, plus aren’t tourist traps, they’ll genuinely lead you to cheap food and transportation

The worst I’ve ever stayed. The room is very very dusty, and we experienced 2 times of electricity shortage during our 1 day stay. They don’t even accept EGP as payment and tried to scam us with tour bookings. It’s only slightly better than sleeping on the street.

Good relation quality / price.

Mr. David is a straight forward helpful guy. I took a private ensuite room. Very very basic but i cant complain at this price point. No hot water in my toilet and the quality of complimentary breakfast was a bit disappointing. Overall a wonderful experience i had here. Made some good friends here too. So a thumbs up. 👍 You need to make payments here in USD only as Mr David doesnt accept Egyptian currency.

I only spent one night, and as they say it is not 5 stars. It was a bed and a bathroom for $5. However, the staff are kind.

Wonderful place in a cute neighborhood easily accessible to main part of town. The most helpful host David was so accommodating and helped us have an amazing time without worry. Everything was clean and functional with incredible value for the price. Thank you David!

David’s place is nice and well located. He is very helpful and accommodating. Just i had some noise out from street else it was good stay for such price.

La limpieza de el dormitorio compartido es mala, el desayuno solo es pan, el wifi no funciona, el ambiente del lugar es súper aburrido, la familia que atiende está cero dispuesta a colaborar en solucionar los percances del lugar y cero amigable. No volvería al lugar ni lo recomendaría

David HOSTAL IS WROST PLACE I EVER BEEN FILTY, THE MATRESS WAS A CHINESE TORTURE THE SPRINS WHERE STIKING OUY.THE SO CALL " BRECKFAST WAS DAGERUS TO EAT " OLD NASTY BREAD FILL WITH EXPAIER SPRED'S I TRY ONE BITE I GOT DIARREA AND DAGERUS AREA IF YOU WANT TO GET TORTURE FOR A LOW PRICE GO GE IT ! !

Great hostel for Egypt and the owner is extremely helpful. I suggest chatting with him to understand how to do anything in Egypt. Also he can set up great tours for very inexpensive if needed.

David and his family/ assistant were amazing! Couldnt have asked for a better stay in Aswan. Super friendly and welcoming, also very knowledgable and helpful, so thankyou!

Found this private room shared bathroom for 150 EGP per night. Honestly didn't expect anything but man this is definitely the best place I have stayed in my month of traveling in Egypt. Stayed here for four nights. If you are looking for a social atmosphere, this is not the right place but if you just wanna relax and recharge, you can't get better than this. Very clean, very safe. You can take the minibus for 2 EGP from the main road- 5 min walk- to get you anywhere you need in Aswan. WiFi is go...
