Widu was such a kind host& helped us with all kinds of questions and requests! The vibe was not as social as I was hoping but that is basically the only negative point to mention. The rest was perfect!

Super fijn verblijf gehad. Eigenaar Widu is ontzettend lief en wil alles voor je regelen!! Verder dichtbij het strand en alle surfscholen.

Unser Gastgeber ist super ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er gibt Tipps für Restaurants und organisiert Surfen für dich. Wir fühlten uns wie in einer Familie. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß und hat alles was du brauchst, ebenso das private Bad. Einfach der perfekte Ort zum übernachten in Welighama

Großartiger Gastgeber! Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Wir wurden sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Selten so eine Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wimal Wood Stock is a fantastic place to stay. Widu is such a friendly, considerate and caring host. There are family dinners and he can help you with any recommendations you need. The location is very walkable to the beach using a shortcut. The rest of the staff is lovely too and the rooms are comfy. The only feedback is the wifi is inconsistent but there are cafes nearby.

Widu and his family were so welcoming, they upgraded me for free and the room was so big and spacious and definitely best value for money on my whole trip in Sri Lanka.

I have stayed in many hostels, hotels and bed & breakfasts. But this one was by far the best! The room was cute, clean and equipped with everything you need. But the best thing was the lovely hosts. Nayana was the sweetest srilanka mama and made the stay very special. Her food, her caring nature and the cooking sessions at her house made me feel right at home. I can only warmly recommend this hostel!!
