Pleasent stay with very friendly staff

Absolutely LOOOOOVED THIS HOSTEL!! The guys working there are the kindest, funniest and best ever. The surfing lessons was soooo good and Yasi is the best teacher, we took 3. And in the evening they cooked food for us and we got to help! Loved every second of it!! It’s such a good location, the train track is really close but the train doesn’t goes during the night. Not a party hostel, feels more like a small family. Truly recommend everyone to stay here and try to get to know the guys!!!

For 4 quid you get AC and a hot shower, few games of UNO in the evening and nice hosts. It’s basic but good. Host made us family dinner 2 nights and I’d highly encourage you to ask him to do it - best Dahl I’ve had in Sri Lanka!! Surf lessons are 5,000 rupees per session. There’s only 1 dorm and so social side is massively dependent on who’s there. We were lucky to have a nice group at the time and would recommend for value for money and nice vibes!

Bonne option peu chère à Weligama. La localisation est idéale, la climatisation fonctionne très (trop?) bien, il y a des moustiquaires, de l'eau chaude... Et j'ai mangé un petit-déjeuner délicieux(meilleur dahl de lentilles de mon séjour et salade de fruits absolument divine) ! On m'a aussi permis de laisser mon sac après le check out. Je regrette seulement qu'il n'y ait pas d'ambiance conviviale entre les voyageurs, chacun fait sa vie de son côté.

I had amazing stay and the best surf lessons possible! It’s not big and it makes it perfect as you can chill and relax. Pool match with Nisantha is a must! It’s located next to train tracks, but after 2 days you don notice anymore. Especially there are no trains running during the night. If you look for quiet chill place to stay and combine with great surfing experience - 100% recommended! Thank you guys for an amazing stay!!! ♥️

I genuinely think there is a lot to improve in this guest house. Our mattress was terribly old and dirty, the air con was not working (we had a discount because of this). For the price, I think you could offer a much better experience overall.

I had a great stay at Stay and Surf in Weligama. The vibe is super relaxed and friendly, and the people there make you feel welcome from the first moment. It’s a simple, down-to-earth place. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and there’s always a nice mix of surfers and travelers to hang out with. If you’re looking for a chilled spot with good energy and a warm atmosphere, this is a great choice. I’d happily come back!

Tout s’est très bien passé! Le personnel est adorable et l’hôtel super bien placé ! En chambre privé avec clime environ 3700 rps :) Et en face de l’hôtel de quoi louer un scooter pour 1500 rps Super top je recommande

I stayed here for 3 nights, the position is very good, walk 5 minutes to the beach, the room is air-conditioned, very comfortable, the boss and staff are very friendly, the boss is also a surfing instructor, took two surfing lessons, a very professional coach

Really would recommend staying here if you are searching for a low-budget, simple accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. Danny, the surf teacher, is also really good in his job and taught me how to pop up in my first lesson. Also, he offers you really good prices for his lessons. Actually, we came for a second stay afterwards because we really enjoyed our time there. Hopefully, see you guys again!

Old and renovated Sri Lankan House. My stay was great. Just two minutes walk to the beach. I got a surf lesson with Danny it was great and he is a great teacher I saw him on tripadvisor he is recommend number one so if you want surf and stay this is the place.. 100 % recommend..
