Great place to stay if you are needing to catch an early flight. Very clean and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend
Was only here for one night- super comfortable beds & could not have asked for a more welcoming staff member at the front desk when I arrived at 1 AM. Great place to start or finish a trip in Iceland!

Got there a bit late to check in time but was able to check in without issue, I was able to sleep/rest for a few hours before my flight, the free coffee and tea was great, security was pretty good and the locker was large enough for both my carry on and person item. It's only a 5km walk from the airport (~1hr20min). Overall besides the high price this was a great hostel and whenever I'm back in Iceland I'll definitely be staying here :)
Hostel itself is great. Just stayed one night for a layover in Keflavik. It seems close to the airport, but in reality is an expensive taxi ride away or almost hour trek with the public bus. Not the most accessible if you don’t plan on renting a car. Otherwise great stay.
Great place to stay if you are catching a flight. Feels like a hotel. And the staff helped organize a split taxi to the airport at 4am - and it was pretty cheap. Having a breakfast was great too!
Clean and functional, helpful staff, good breakfast. 4500isk taxi to the airport. Crazy expensive for a dorm room, but that's Iceland!
Great location and the staff was super helpful on several occasions. Not much happening in the way of activities within the hostel but for being in Iceland you should be spending as much time outside the hostel as possible! Would stay again for sure!
Middle of nowhere hostel. But great for staying during layovers to/ from the KEF Airport!
Overall it was a good stay, the hostel was spotlessly clean and the room was great. I do have a couple of cons though. One of the staff members wasn’t friendly at all (female), couldn’t crack a smile, you could tell she didn’t even want to interact with you which is quite a shame because the guy was lovely! Also breakfast.. I can see why it’s free.. it’s continental and you can tell it’s not fresh. Come on guys don’t put so much out so it doesn’t go off! And when it’s time to b...
My wife and I had a nice stay. It was close to the airport which was handy for our departing flight. Private room was spacious but we would have liked a double bed instead of two singles. Also the walls are a bit thin so we could hear the neighboring guests being loud way past midnight which made it hard to sleep. The breakfast was adequate.
Great for a stay near the airport. Wouldn't be fantastic if planning to be close to things in Reykjavik
Good location for if you're coming in or leaving the area. Has all the basic amenities, nice staff, nothing spectacular. They will book a taxi to the airport for you, but that comes at a cost. They also have basic foods and snacks for sale like frozen pizza, soups, chips, wine, beer, etc. Might be useful to know. The breakfast is off the hook, you have all the options, and it starts super early in the morning for if you have a PLAY or WizzAir flight, so that's convenient.
The establishment was spotlessly clean, staff over the top helpful and the breakfast, that started at 4 am, was beyond a doubt the best I have ever had at a hostel.
It was a great place to arrive after a very stressful trip. I was just staying for a layover - if you arrive late at night, there probably won't be any buses to the hostel. You'll have to take a cab, which was about $30 USD. I was able to take a bus back to the airport the next morning, but keep in mind that they leave about every hour and might arrive early. It's not too long of a walk, though -- 15 minutes? Breakfast had a lot of options, the staff was very friendly, nice bathrooms too!
The hosts were awesome. Totally helpful with tons of great advice and travel directions. I would recommend this hostile without reservations to anyone.
Super feels like hotel
Ich buchte das Hostel, da ich einen frühen Flug am nächsten Morgen hatte. Leider habe ich erst vor Ort gemerkt, dass ich auch gut in Reykjavik bleiben hätte können… FlyBus bietet bereits sehr sehr frühe Flughafentransfers an. So musste ich den Transfer zu diesem Hostel und anschliessend das Taxi am Morgen bezahlen. Hat sich somit überhaupt nicht gelohnt, jetzt weiss ich es besser und hoffe diese Info hilft sonst noch jemandem. Das Taxi an den Flughafen kostete für 2 Personen 4000 ISK un...
This was a perfect stay for those coming from the airport. the room a clean and simple and the breakfast was sufficient. would definitely stay again.
Great place to stay before an early flight or late arrival into KEF. Very clean rooms and fully stocked breakfast. Would recommend to others!
