Tchaikovsky Hostel (T-Hostel)

This was by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. As a solo female traveller, I’ve never felt so welcome. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to make your time in Split enjoyable. They clearly know the area and upcoming local events well. The location is fantastic (right next to a supermarket, cheap eats etc..) The rooms are spacious, the shower pressure is great, I’ve never been to a hostel where everyone is so friendly. Such an amazing place. I cannot recommend enough. THANKY...

I've been to quite a few hostels, this was easily my favourite one. Amazing location, everything is within walking distance. Amazing staff, all incredibly kind and helpful, above and beyond. Rooms themselves are amazing. Not a single complaint.

Overall had a good stay. Great location by the palace and nice staff. The pictures make it look larger than it is and it felt a bit cramped. I took quick showers yet the hot water went out about half way through.

Nice little hostel right next to the old town in Split, everything you need in short walking distance. Stayed here before, would stay again. Still think Croatia got way overpriced in the last years.

We had a great stay in Split it’s a quick walk to the old town but a quiet street at night which is nice. Was quiet during our stay but that suited us.

Disappointed to say the least. Although the rooms were designed well the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and pillows were see through. The staff were not friendly or helpful. The rooms were clean but everything else within the hostel was a mess! Messy cluttered kitchen, stuffed and rotting fridge, and empty and mouldy shampoo bottles in the showers. The toilets smelled like open sewage. I’m not sure if it fits the “boutique” label.

The location of the hostel is great. Close to the old town, supermarket around the corner and restaurants and bars close by. Rooms where spacious and had big lockers and a plug at each bed. Unfortunately wifi did not reach our dorm. What I really disliked was the ownerless stuff/garbage all around. In the showers empty shampoo bottles, single used razors etc. empty plastic bottles and bags in the room and the fridge was overflowing (surely a few things were outdated as well).

Had the best time. Super small and cozy. The family who owns it are the best and ready to help you at any notice. Rooms are really nice. Bed had a curtain so you felt you had your own space plus lockers are super spacious. About a three minute walk to Old Town so it’s super close to everything without being loud. Not an overly social hostel but meet some great people. Super clean and bathrooms had two showers so there was never a queue for them. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Really great place to stay! Super clean. Everyone was really nice. There was a good amount of problems with consistent WiFi. However, overall, I would for sure stay here especially if you don’t have work tasks.

LOCATION is amazing. Quick 5 minute walk down to the main attractions within split. Supermarket and restaurants are downstairs with everything you need. Hostel is a very social and welcoming place to stay with very informative and helpful staff. The beds have heaps of storage room with charger points easily accessible and located directly above bed.

I really enjoyed staying here! The rooms are so nice. The locker is really big and the beds have a nice curtain.. The rooms are nice and cool. It just has a really nice friendly vibe.

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. You very naturally feel like your part of the family and the common areas make it so easy to meet other travelers. 10/10 recommend.

Absolutely love this hostel. I’ve stayed here two summers in a row now and last year this was my first ever hostel experience. The owner is amazing and treats her guests like family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. My only qualm with this stay was that the girls bathrooms are a tiny bit gross at times. Also, only one of the shower head is attached to the wall, so there was a que sometimes for the other one. Great location. Not super social but we did make some very good friends.

The staff were lovely. We had some booking changes and they did not charge me for them which was very kind. Very accommodating. Let me keep my bags there for no extra charge after I had checked out. Good communication. Dorms were clean and had curtains. Lovely little terrace to have breakfast or a snack on. Could definitely use air conditioning but close to everything. Not a super social hostel but I’m sure you could still meet friends there. Bring earplugs as the street outside was a bit loud

La gente del hostel muy simpáticos. Pero el hostel en sí, era incómodo, los baños de mujeres al lado de la cocina. Para ir a una habitación tenías que pasar por otra. La cortina no cerraba bien por lo que entraba luz. La calle a la q daba el hostel muy ruidosa y fea, aunque era cerca de los principales puntos turísticos. Los baños chicos y medios sucios.
