Cicada Hostel

Great little place, run by a lovely couple. Was given a map at check in, and he noted all the best places I should visit which was super helpful. Comfy bed, clean bathrooms, bit of a hike down to old town, but a bus station was only 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend

A really lovely stay - the hostel staff were lovely as she came and introduced herself and the day after, I had a later bus and she said I could stay in the room till 3pm and use the facilities till whenever - which is truly unheard of in a hostel. Little bit of a walk into old town but not too bad. Would stay again

Very clean, hotel like hostel. The host was amazing, very nice. she would bring us popcorn and cookies. The vibes are great and the rooms & showers are clean

We had an amazing stay at Cicada hostel. The hosts are incredibly helpful and really made us feel at home. It’s a small hostel which gives it a very wholesome vibe. Would highly recommend to stay here if you are going to Split!

Cicada Hostel is so comfortable and inviting. Ivona and her family are very friendly and welcoming. I arrived super tired and they had coffee and treats waiting for me. Everything is so clean and spacious. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The woman who runs the hostel is very friendly and welcoming. The hostel is up a hill from the centre but it’s a relatively short walk from the bus station and port. The only issues were the lack of washing machine (even though advertised on the app) and that we had to pay in cash.

Great value for its location! Super small which was just what we needed but met so many cool people!

The best hostel to stay in! The host is wonderful, she has the rooms and bathrooms very clean, is very relaxed, and would make us popcorn while the hostel hung out in the evening or coffee and snacks in the morning. Overall great experience, I’d highly recommend! Only about a 10-15 minute walk to old town.

The best hostel I’ve ever been! Ivona was the nicest host and the hostel did not disappoint. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and we had a great time with the other guests. All in all a really good experience. Thank you very much!!

Loved this place. Everything’s clean, it’s easy to socialize here and Ivona the owner is awesome. Would come back to Split just for this hostel.
