Hostel&Bar CAMOSIBA

It was a nice stay in this hostel. The location is close to the station but the station itself is not so well connected with other cities (but you know this before going here). The bar is really cool and pleasant but there haven't been many other guests or people there when I was in the hostel (weekday).

I absolutely loved this hostel. I recommend it to anyone traveling that direction. The owner is super sweet and gives very good advice. It’s really close to the train station. It’s must-go hostel.

very nice hostel.

A very peaceful hostel located very near the train station, with plenty of places to explore all around. You have all the required facilities, kept very clean and a cozy common area, with a bar just in the next building where the staff is available in the morning and evening. You can get a really delicious breakfast meal for a normal price and they offer bike rentals, which in this part of Akita prefecture is great, because there's plenty of places to ride to on a sunny day.

Super friendly hostel and super friendly community. It was my first time at a hostel and it was a fun time over there. Will definitely go back when I return to Japan

The staff were great, the location is just a ccouple minutes away from the rail station, the area is beautiful, more on the quiet end of Japan, gives you a more real experience. The facilities were good, enjoyed the bar, has good vibes. I definitely wanna return!

Ein richtiges Kronjuwel in einer nicht so touristischen Gegend. Die Räume sind klein, aber durchdacht und so hat man am Ende ordentlich Platz. Es ist super sauber und das Personal ist ein Traum. Außerdem ist die Unterkunft nur 3 Minuten von der nächsten JR Station entfernt, somit ist es ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagestrips. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist auch die Bar, in der man leckeres Essen und sehr gutes Boer, Cider und Sake genießen kann.

CAMOSIBA is an awesome hostel. The staff are extremely kind. The hostel space is very cozy. However, staying in the winter and sleeping in a bottom bunk, I found the mattress to be quite cold as there was a draft from the floor, so I actually used the extra blanket they provided to put under me while I slept. Meals are delicious - I highly recommend opting for breakfast as there are not many places in the town to eat in the morning; plus, the local pickles are delicious. The bar was a super fun ...
