Overall really good stay, the room was great we were just on the top floor so it was so hot! And the cleaners came into our room unannounced while we were sleeping one of the mornings which was very odd, might have been a mix up but it freaked us out! But overall the place was a good stay
The room was immaculately clean, which was great! We also appreciated the kettle and tea bags. Overall however, it felt like there were a few things missing that you would normally expect - such as a bedside lamp, a bath mat, and a shelf in the bathroom to keep toiletries. The bathroom tap was very loose and the TV wasn‘t working. I also believe the bed was a small double rather than a double as advertised. Silent and peaceful place, I booked a double room for one night, and had a queen-size bed instead, with a great deal of towels and appreciable facilities though. The tiny ensuite bathroom was pleasantly clean. Well connected with the City by the tube. Recommended for business travellers.
I loved my stay at 23 Matheson. Such a lovely hotel and the staff is amazing! Reece, Margot and Sam and wonderful.
