The Nomad’s Hostel – Islamabad

Sarmad was an incredible host, always keen to show me the city,friendly and open to have any kind of conversation, very polite, location was 10/10, in a very safe area, next to restaurants and markets, the space is super comfortable with everything you need to stay either short or long term. He can give you city tours, landmarks such as the faisal mosque or Fatima jinnah, close to nature, trails, hikings. I fully recomend staying on this hostel .

This was my first time in Pakistan and staying here was the best choice i could've made. Dr. Sarmand was so kind and gave me tips on exploring the city. He even let me stay an extra two nights because i was having so much fun. I recommend anyone coming to Islamabad to stay here. You will not be dissapointed!!

Its a great experience in this hostel. If you’re away from your home, then you definitely feel this hostel like your home. The host Sarmad is not just a great host, he is a great human as well and treats their guests with a very good gesture. He and his family are amazing in hospitality. I highly recommend staying in this hostel.

At first I chose a cheaper hostel but, because of the price, it was crowded, and what they offer is not worth the money. So next morning I gave up, packed my stuff and moved to Nomad's, two dollars more but WAY better. I got a room with just two beds, a bathroom attached, a balcony and a beautiful view of the trees in the street. Few times I was so glad to spend two dollars more for the night. I learned the lesson, from now on I'll think twice when I'm tempted to book the cheapest hostel in town

Had a great stay here! Sarmad was incredibly helpful and always happy to assist with anything—from home comforts to travel advice. The house is super clean, cozy, and feels very welcoming. The warmth of the whole family really stands out; Sarmad and his mom are lovely company. The neighborhood is very safe and one of the cleanest in the city. If you need anything, just ask Sarmad—he truly goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Highly recommend!

Sarmad was absolutely brilliant at hosting and he made every effort to ensure I was comfortable. The place is spotlessly clean and in a good location. It’s treated like a guest-house where each person gets their own room, which I liked! For a brief stay in Islamabad before heading to the mountains this is the perfect place.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and I really liked that it had a separate bathroom. The owner is a very kind and welcoming person. The location is also convenient, just a short walk from Centaurus Mall. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Friendly host, great location

Its the great Hostel Den for International Travellers especially females .The neighborhood is cool as it is in the city centre .The rooms are big and spacious . Every thing important like Iconic Faisal Mosque and Meuseam is nearby .The views from the window are awsome .The host is cool Lad and very welcoming. Just go there when in Islamabad..:)

The finest place to get a dorm or lodge in Islamabad. The rooms are so clean and spacious with beautiful view of the hills outside. The area is actually in the city center, and therefore to go and explore the places is super easy. They provide home cooked food which is a delight of its own. The host is a chill man who loves to interact and guide you about the city. As a solo female traveler, I had a very comfortable and convenient time at the hostel. Absolutely recommended!
