WGJ HOSTEL KYOTO

Very pleasant hostel with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a convenient location. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the facilities are modern and well maintained. Ideal for travelers looking for comfort and good hospitality at a fair price.

Felt safe and clean, with a lovely host that helped me hire a bike for half a day. It was not very social but a nice quiet place to sleep!

Decent hostel in terms of location and facilities, but my experience with a payment issue was disappointing. Despite having clear proof that my card was charged, I was repeatedly asked to pay again. What was particularly concerning was that there seemed to be confusion involving another guest’s payment, yet this was never verified with them, while I was continuously asked to settle the bill again. Having stayed at several other hostels across Japan, this felt very different from the cons...

Wow, such a wonderful home base to get to know Kyoto from! It's just a few minutes walk from the Shichoji Keihan train station, and nie to have (not just 1 but 2 lol) Family Mart convenience stores at the corner betweem. This place is so clean. You take off your shoes upon entering which makes it feel more homey. Toilets are heated, bathrooms super clean. Nice to have the cafe downstairs to work or talk if needed. Wifi is great overall in the hostel.The rooms are quiet. Overall, would come back!

Super hostel malgré le grand nombre de lit par dorm. Le patron est super gentil et machine pour le linge pas cher. À côté de la gare et proche de certains lieux touristiques à visiter. Je recommande !!

I really recommend this hostel in Kyoto! Very friendly staff, clean and a nice bar downstairs where drinks and food are served. You can also just chill in that area. Overall I felt very welcome and would choose the place again for my next visit! Arigato gozaimasu :)

Really nice place, run by the owner who goes above and beyond for his guests. Very clean and good beds and facilities. The food at the bar is good too. I would definitely stay there again.
