The hostel was clean, small lockers are available or but no big lockers. My favorite part of the hostel was the cat, Tortuga who greeted me every time I came and went. The hostel in close to everything and if you rent a golf cart there’s plenty of free parking right in front
Great place for a scuba trip with 2 other friends of mine, right in the heart of San Pedro. Owners are very knowledgeable about the area and have tons of recommendations for travelers.
A well run hostel. With a friendly welcome, plus good facilities and space in the dorms. Will return.
Drift Inn feels more like a hotel than a hostel. It's got ample private rooms and lovely outdoor space. And cats. Very helpful front desk staff. Booking a snorkeling trip via the front desk saved me about 25% versus booking it directly myself.
Service at check in was great. It was quick. She was really nice. I was able to get an early check in. The WiFi doesn’t work, at least not in the room at all.
Great stay, comfortable beds, nice use of the rooftop pool with neighbouring hostel. Owner really helpful!
En general súper atentos aunque mi idioma sea el español y el de ellos sea el inglés, me ayudaron en un problema con mi reserva y todo salió fantástico… 100 recomendado.
it was a really nice stay, thank you very much!
Excellent séjour au Drift Inn San Pedro. Chambre propre. Très bien situé. Personnel très gentil, accueillant et attentionné envers nos besoin. Je recommande !
I had an amazing stay at Drift Inn! The dorm room was super comfortable, with cozy beds and great A/C that kept it cool. The hotel has a great social vibe—perfect for meeting travelers while still having space to relax. The owner was incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to help with recommendations, bookings, or just making guests feel welcome. You can tell they truly care. If you want a fun, comfortable, well-run stay in San Pedro, Drift Inn is the spot! Can’t wait to return!
Staff not really nothered nor friendly. We entered our room which absolutely stinked of cigarette or cigar - I couldn’t even het inside for an hour - the staff only shrugged and said they were full so couldn’t move us or give us a refund since they had charged us already. We had to open all windows and doors plus fan and dejumidify the room for hours. Room is pretty dirty and all taps and furniture are ran down. Not recommended
This hostel was super convenient as I spent most of my time diving with Chuck and Robbie’s which is right next door. Rooms were fine and clean. Good recommendations for food from staff.
Quitte Expensive and lot of Seniors in the Hostel But the free coffee was nice
The Drift Inn is a perfect central location on the island, and was close to all the best beach front restaurants. We walked less than 1km from the airport with no problem. We stayed in the single private room with a bathroom off the main patio/kitchen. The staff was lovely, and the Sand Bar (also serves great food) was attached and led you straight to the water. We will stay again in the future!
The best part was the relaxed but very polite and helpful staff.
Overall good, just very expensive for a bed
Really disappointed. We were very excited to stay here based on the excellent reviews, but what a flop. The beautiful swimming pool they have a partnership with next door, is closed. It is being refurbished and won't be open for many months. If we were warned in advance we would have changed our booking. We stayed in the Dorm by the laundry room. It has a serious mosquito problem. We were bitten badly every night even when wearing DEET. The rooms were super warm and the weather was m...
