Schoendorf Hostel - Virtual Reception

I had a great stay. Sebastian was very helpful with addressing any extra requests and thanks to his great recommendations there was always something to do.

This is a great little hostel with a modern, cool vibe, and it’s really close to Bratislava’s Old Town. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, plus some lovely cafes, pubs, and clubs all within walking distance. Sebastian was also an amazing host, super fun and welcoming, and he had loads of great suggestions for places to visit and things to do in Bratislava.

nice spot, in terms of the building and accomodities then it's fantastic but not as social as some of other experiences

Great position in the centre, on a busy street but not loud when window is shut. Room was clean and very nice with high ceilings. Bathroom and hallway also clean and nicely decorated with space.

There are far too few bathrooms for the number of guests staying here, and they’re always dirty

The location is very good. I was apprehensive about the digital checkin, but it’s very easy. The cleanliness is not the best, the sheets need to be changed - but it’s still ok. My first night the bedroom was smelly, but I think that was because of someone who was in there. Overall it’s a nice and good place to stay in.

전반적으로 가성비 좋고 깔끔했습니다. 이 호스텔 체크인은 이메일로 제공받는 링크로 들어가서 무인으로 진행해야 하는데요, 저의 경우에는 한국 카드 결제가 안되어서 애먹었습니다. 레볼르트라는 유럽 계정이 있어서 그거로 겨우 결제하고 들어갔어요. 방 상태도 괜찮고 수건도 주고 좋았습니다. 샤워실 청소 상태가 조금 아쉽긴 했어요. 석회가루가 굳어있는 샤워 헤드 등.....

Pretty good hostel. Lockers in the room are very small and couldn’t really fit my backpack. They also were incredibly loud moving anything around in them. Virtual reception is interesting but not really a problem. More of a lowkey vibe hostel if that’s what you want

Property felt very secure with the PIN codes, rooms were tidy but bed curtains were not wide enough, bathrooms were not very clean, not a large social space but good location.

good location and comfortable room staff not being there is extremely annoying as they have a live chat but do not typically respond quickly or efficiently when there is an issue- would be much easier if staff were present took an hour and a half to ‘resolve’ an issue- no one turned up

perfect location, super modern hostel, stayed in a big dorm with 8 beds but it was not fully booked at all, you had to cross the hallway to get to the bathroom but that´s doable, can absolutely recommend it!!!

Accomodation is new and is really well done. Check in was super easy and you get a code when checking in online and it works for everything. A really great idea. Felt safe, comfortable and a really great location. Will stay again

super seamless check in process online. room & bathroom were very clean. i appreciated how the lockers were in a separate room from the beds! definitely would recommend :)

Virtual reception was easy to navigate and once I got the hang of using the pin for everything, it worked really well. Not much of a social vibe however, I booked here to avoid the party hostels. Beds are very comfortable, really big rooms. Only one bathroom per floor but never seemed to be an issue. Pin for the door can be loud so a little annoying if coming in late at night. Location is great, super close to old town and plenty of food nearby.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.From the online payment system to the facilities and the personalized mobile options, everything was modern and efficient.The staff was also very friendly; although there was an incident with a guest in the middle of the night, the owners and staff handled it quickly and effectively. I would definitely stay here again.

prettty cool concept, the hostel has a virtual reception so you have to checkin online but there is a staff is in the cafe at backyard if you need any help or talk to online assisteant otherwise everything is operated with your phone. clean, modern and very central location
