we had a very good stay! relaxing ambiance and perfect location
Could not recommend enough! Extremely friendly check in staff and lots of places to socialise with other travellers. LOTS of free amenities like shampoo, towels (nice surprise for a hostel), cookies, tea, coffee, cereal, sanitary supplies, the list goes on. Lovely vibe overall. Not too far from public transport (about 5 mins to bus stop and 10 to train station). The only drawback I have is the graffiti on the front door gives a bit of a bad first impression; inside is nothing like that though!
Clean! Cozy! Free Cookies! I had a wonderful three nights here in a mixed dorm as a female solo traveller. There was an incident with one of the guests, however, it was handled with such attention and care by the staff that I never felt unsafe for a moment. My one qualm is that the wifi is somewhat iffy and I had a few things I had to do on my laptop. But there is a cafe across the street with great internet so it wasn't too much of a problem.
Mega nice hostel great location
It was a really cosy hostel. Not the most social if you are travelling alone, but a very comfortable one, an amazing location and amazing staff. We would recommend!!
This is the best, coziest and most welcoming hostel I have ever stayed at! I will definitely be making this my base for future visits to Berlin.
Amazing!!! Thank you so much!
Enjoyed my stay at BackpackerBerlin! Cozy hostel, amazing neighborhood, and super friendly staff (shout out to Jackie, Nina + her dog Timmy, and Andrea). Everyone was respectful/kind, and there was plenty of space to decamp in between touring. I stayed in room A2 which was a bit cramped, but I was out and about most of the day and there was plenty of space in the communal areas to work or socialize. Would definitely recommend especially if the location is prime for your needs.
Would stay again. Really nice ajd helpful staff and nice atmosphere in hostel. They have free coffee in the mornings which was really nice.
Super cosy, definitely a good spot if you’re just looking for somewhere nice and quiet to chill out in after a day of wandering and exploring. Free cereal and tea/coffee was a nice touch, as was the vegetarian-only kitchen
My favorite hostel in Berlin, above all because of the amazing staff: Nina, Jaquie, Arina, Tuli, Ana, Lisa and the rest are such great people. Other than that this hostel is relaxed and you can actually meet others. It's not a party hostel full of drunk people; so you can actually get some rest. The location in Friedrichshain is great, close to Boxhagener Platz and many restaurants.
I really liked this hostel and the location, not very social vibe but defenitely worth the money!
Auberge bien placée dans l'est de Berlin, proche de nombreux bars et restaurants. L'endroit était très calme et propre durant la semaine. Accueil très sympathque.
Clean hostel, accommodating staff, great location. Not a party hostel. Choose your own adventure. Would definitely stay again
Very vibey & berlin appropriate
Incredibly friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere overall. Would definetely recommend!
Absolutely loved my stay at this hostel. Though it was a bit more expensive, it was well worth it: the beds were super comfy, the rooms were quiet and spacious, and the vibes were friendly and fun!!
Love this hostel, love Berlin! Super calm, cozy, and welcoming place in a really cool part of the city. Special thanks to Lisa and Nina for welcoming me! I appreciate that the kitchen is Veg friendly, and the thoughtfulness in creating a welcoming space with the little things like cups of tea, and a super chill dog Timmy. Looking forward to coming back to Berlin, and to the BackpackerBerlin!
Second time staying here. Perfect hostel 10/10. Quiet, clean, staff are helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!
Great hostel to stay, super homey and great attention to detail; from the decor to all the amenities, free tea and coffee and even sometimes some cheesecake!
