Roger told me "Mi casa es tu casa" and rarely did it had deep meaning like such. He helped me with many things and I felt right at home. Although the two couples staying there made me feel like I was bothering them, I would recommend going there just for Roger warm welcome and amazing advices 😊
+ David était pour moi un point de chute pour traverser au Costa Rica et finalement j’y suis restée 4 jours !!! Roger a rendu ce séjour mémorable en nous accompagnant avec les autres voyageurs à découvrir les alentours de la zone (cascades, canyons, îles) et l’expérience est bien plus locale ! C’est quelqu’un qui aime recevoir, conseiller et faire en sorte qu’on soit tous satisfaits de notre séjour au Panama ! Je recommande à 100%

+ Roger a jeho guest house byl naprosto zásadní obrat na mé cestě Panamou a dál. Po mém přepadení v Panama city mě udělal z pekla ráj. Nejenže jsem u něj potkal ty správné parťáky, ale i podnikl s námi fantastické výlety, které zatím patří k tomu nejlepšímu co mě na cestě potkalo. Pokud máte srdce na správném místě a potkáte Rogera vše zapadne. Díky “Bro”( víš jak to slovo nesnáším říkat) ale ty jsi výjimka

+ The owner was really kind — he picked us up from the bus station and even invited us to a local city festival. It made our stay extra special! Thanks again
+ The Owner Roger is the best host that I have ever had. He messaged me before coming to his hostel. He checked in to make sure everything was okay. He kept in touch until he picked me up at the bus terminal. After a long 8 hour bus ride was I ever glad to meet him :). 6 days later he took me back to the bus terminal for my next trip. I had planned on only staying for 3 nights but stayed 6 because of Roger. He took me to the Faire twice. He also took me, and on a second trip others, to three different Islands. He arranged everything. He even cooked two wonderful meals. We had great talks. I felt very safe and very well looked after by Roger. He also took me to the store as needed. He also took me to the local market which was great. He provided directions and told me where I could shop when needed. He is a great human and now a friend. I would highly recommend staying in his home (hostel) that he makes to feel like your home as well. Out of this now almost 3 month trip I can say he is the best host and I enjoyed my time with him very much. It was a great experience. A 10 out of 10 experience. Thank you Roger. Sincerely, Barb

- The property needs some work but I get it. I think I have to compare it fairly to other places I’ve stayed in town. It’s very comfortable the showers are good, the kitchen has all the utilities including a coffee machine.
+ I was picked up from the bus terminal free of charge. Overall, it was very solid accommodation with extremely friendly and helpful staff.
- Only a few power outlets worked because of the solar power.
+ Roger wholeheartedly opens the doors of his own house to welcome travelers and from the very first moment, you feel embraced by his genuine hospitality, wisdom, and incredible life stories. Staying here is not about having a place to crash. it’s about connection, warmth, and authentic experiences. He is incredibly thoughtful and provides everything you need to have the most wonderful stay. I highly recommend joining his tours. They are an authentic and unique way to experience the surrounding area. He's also a excellent cook. Be prepared: you might extend your stay. I came for one night and ended up staying five. I truly don’t have enough words to thank Roger for everything he did for us. If you’re staying in David, this is the place to be. Best wishes ever.

+ A truely unique experience! Ended up staying 5 nights. Place to reset while travelling and also seeing all that is around the region. Surfing , islands, canyons! The best. Thanks Roger ❤️
+ The stuff (Mike and Roger) are very nice and welcoming persons. They offer free pick ups from the bus station and make great advices for trips in the area. The hostel itself is still "under construction". Here and there are things to be done. Nice and cosy place in David. But very hot... I sweated a lot...
- The sitting area around the reception could be improved...
+ The place is clean, comfy and the vibe is really cool. The owner of the place, Roger, is a great person: always trying to connect travelers between each other, careful to people needs, friendly and attentive. He really made my stay a great one! I strongly recommend this place!!!

+ One of the best hosts I ever had. Really cares to offer you the best stay possible with suggesting activities and driving you for a little gas money. The room was clean and the location is good (food and supermarket nearby, short walk to the center). He even picked me up for free at the Bus-terminal. It is not overcrowded and has a very familiar atmosphere. Really enjoyed it and would stay here again, if i come to David again.
- He doesn't have a in house washing machine (anymore?). He nicely offers to bring your laundry to a lavandería for you. But you should consider that they take 5$ per load which can get expensive if you have to seperate your laundry. Not really a negative point but you should consider that.
+ Excelente hospedaje, lugar muy cómodo y agradable gracias a Roger que es siempre presente si se necesita algo y que conoce muy bien la ciudad y la región. Bien ubicado para ir a comer en la ciudad o comprar algo en el supermercado.
+ Basic hostel, but clean and comfortable. Facilities are limited but sufficient for a short stay. Short walk to city centre. 2kms to bus terminal. Owner, Roger, is the main draw card though. You won’t find a nicer, more genuine guy in Panama. Goes above and beyond to help guests and ensure they have a trouble free, enjoyable time.
