Das Personal war super nett und entgegenkommend, es gab für jedes Problem ein Lösung und es wurde sich gekümmert. Das Apartment ist 10min mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen entfernt. Wer eine sichere Unterkunft für 1-2 Nächte in Managua sucht, dem kann ich dieses Hostel nur von Herzen empfehlen.

My mind is splitted… On one hand, if you are a diver, this place is good. It’s the same owner so the buildings are next to each other and the dives were amazing!! On the other hand, the organisation is bad… Our booked room with sea view was not available?! Basically no privat room was… The first night we had to stay in the dorm (for free) and the second night in a normal privat room across the street. No sea view at all and a lot of discussions… But, the reception guy is doing a great ...

Camera fronte mare con terrazza privata. Relativamente vicina al centro , in zona silenziosa. Wi-Fi non andava molto bene ma in fin dei conti si é su un” isola e spesso ci sono problemi con Wi-Fi e elettricità. La doccia perdeva acqua per cui il pavimento del Bagno era sempre bagnato.

Je recommande ! Simple et efficace, proche du ferry et de l’aéroport

Preis/Leistung tiptop. Es wird einiges auch renoviert, aber keine Lärmbelästigung! Extrem nett und hilfsbereit. War 2x dort. Mega Aussicht. Küche gut ausgestattet.

Das Hostel war sehr weit abgelegeb von allem und halb verlassen. Es hat ewig gedauert bis wir einchecken konnten. Die Zimmer sehen sehr schlimm aus und sind nicht sicher. Außerdem kommen sehr dubiose Leute in diesem Hostel unter. Nicht mal für eine Nacht vor dem Rückflug nach Managua geeignet, wir habend uns direkt ein anderes Hotel gesucht. Empfehlung ist hier auf jeden Fall nicht zu schlafen.

So first of all the personal didn’t knew we were coming, after she didn’t found any keys to open our room and could not open it herself. It’s not really clean here and the cabin doors of the shower falls on you while you try to open it. The shower is also broken you have to turn it on from up and I could not do it because I am too small. But the worse was when I was sleeping and that the upper dunk bed broke and fell on me during my sleep. This is actually really dangerous. At least confo ...

Overall good value for the price. Staff was friendly, location is great and the view is amazing. However, some renovations could be necessary, especially in the bathroom with a leaking sink.

Honestly not sure why the reviews for this hostel are not so great, we stayed one night and the room was clean, AC worked just fine, staff was slow but helpful, location is inconvenient but for one or two nights totally doable. Nice kitchen and upstairs area. Rooms actually have keys which I was surprised, most I’ve been too recently haven’t had any.

Really liked it here - was kinda worried bc of all those bad reviews! The only downside here is that there are not so many restaurants nearby and it’s a at least 10/15 walk. The room (dorm) had AC which was awesome and you could control it. Bathroom was very clean & shower worked well! Kitchen is fully equipped and you have the absolute BEST view from up there. For one/two nights highly recommended!

Overall a good place to stay. Clean, and one of the dorms I stayed in had concrete walls for each bunk - an oddly private experience for a hostel! I do have a major gripe however. An employee insisted that there were absolutely no boats running to Little Corn, even as I told them I knew there was a boat and left. They argued about paying for the night because it was past checkout, so I overpaid just to end the conversation and catch the boat. When I returned they acted like nothing happened.....

It is very basic. The bed and toilet paper were great. The bathroom floor was flooded the entire time. There were very few people staying contributing to the lack of atmosphere. Reception was across the road and I was unaware.

El lugar se encuentra sumamente descuidado, no me sentí segura en el hospedaje, las condiciones no son óptimas, la cocina es básica y casi no hay implementes, la infraestructura en general está en malas condiciones, no me volvería a hospedar acá

I would not recommend staying here. Even though it’s the only hostel on the website for big corn, the place is a disorganized and falling down. The staff seems very disheartened and knows the place is rough. There are so many other places to stay for the same price on the island. The location is great as it’s right on the water but the place itself is horrible.

Good place for One night. When i was there, there was not really something Going on, So i had a dorm of 8 Just with 2 people. Restaurants are little far to walk at night. Ferry is a 15 min walk. Reception is in a diving school across the Street. Had to go back myself for the change They didnt had.

Don’t go here… The shower hardly works, the running water smells like rotten eggs, the kitchen is very dirty and difficult to cook (not one spoon, or cutting board), and the ‘bar’ area is unfinished. The place is falling apart. The owners are friendly and mean very well, but the place needs a serious renovation… It may seem like your only option on Hostelword, but there are many cheap b&b’s around that are much better!

Unfortunately the place is really rotten and falling apart. Even tho That creates a mystic atmosphere, it doesnt justify the Rest. The water was often out of order, the toilet flush was broken, the kitchen was extremly Dirty. On top of That we had Cockroaches in the room and bed bugs in our bed. At least the diving instructor (who also works at the reception) is really nice and the location is not far from the port.
