Cannot recommend enough! Bakamuna coliving was a calm and peaceful stay in Hiriketiya and decorated beautifully. The owners are super welcoming and friendly and the place made our stay in Hiriketiya. Great value for money and would 100% stay here again, thank you!

Bakamuna was a great place to stay, it has a super relaxed feel and furnished really nicely! The hosts are great and help you get comfortable and provide you with lots of recommendations to explore in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here as I needed some quiet time after staying in hostels during my travels of Sri Lanka and it was the much needed break from the noise and chaos. A bit further out from town but worth it for the quiet nights. Really clean and good facilities, wish I booked another night. The host was really helpful and would 100% stay here again if I come back

Great stay! This place is designed well for coworking. Comfortable bedrooms and nice small kitchen / chill area. Only downside was location is a bit far ( still only 15 minutes from beach though)

We loved our stay at bakamuna. The place is very new and that is why there is not many reviews, but it is an amazing place. The owner is very sweet and helpful. The staff is also very kind. The place is strategically placed just outside the city, so it is very peaceful, and it is an easy walk to the beach. It is a beautiful and comfortable place. For sure a hidden gem. During our stay there was only couples so not a really social place. We will be back for sure ☺️

10/10 - I enjoyed my stay at bakamuna so much! The atmosphere is perfect and quite, just what I needed. Within a 15 minute walk you are at the beach. I rented a scooter, so it took me just 4 minutes to get there. Nigel is a perfect host. He helps you with everything you need and gives great recommendations. The rooms are furnished with a lot of love and sense for detail.

This was one of the best stays during our trip. The rooms and all the interiors were beautifully done and spotless, with loads of spacious and comfortable areas to relax in. There was also a really good kitchen setup. It felt like a home away from home! The owner was great and so welcoming, and shared some amazing recommendations in Hiri! We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Stayed at Bakamuna at the end of my trip since I wanted a quiet space to to work. Realised it was more than just a space to take external calls and wish I stayed longer. Located just outside Hiriketiya in Dikwella, it's a perfect stay for those that want something away from what is now a very chaotic Hiri (will only get worse in years to come). Rooms were spotless, kitchen to prep your own food and a couple of chill areas - feels more like a villa in Europe until the monkeys and dogs remind you ...

Bakamuna was the best stay of my trip through Sri Lanka! It’s cozy, clean, and spacious, with everything I needed for a comfortable and productive stay. The room had a great desk, air conditioning, and fast Wi-Fi, perfect for getting my work done. The host and other travelers were all incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Het was top. De combinatie tussen de natuur, de restaurants, surfen en feestjes was precies hoe ik een vakantie voor mij zag. Het huis was heel schoon en door Nigel voelde ik mij gelijk thuis. Ik kom zeker terug.

Super ontvangen door Nigel! Prachtig rustige locatie en niet ver van het strand. Zou het zeker aanraden aan andere reizigers!

Fantastisch verblijf. Leuke mensen leren kennen. Er zit een hek om het huis heen welke op slot kan ‘s nachts. Alles ziet er heel netjes en schoon uit. Fijn dat er airco’s zijn en alles wat je nodig hebt in een keuken is aanwezig. Zeker waar voor m’n geld.

Everything was clean and well maintained, making it a very comfortable place to relax. The vibe of the place is perfect for anyone looking to chill and experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Highly recommended!

Super good and clean house with great wifi and free coffee to do all my work after surfing.
