The Bunkyard Galle

I wish i could stay here for a longer time, it was my very first time living in a hostel and I had no complaints at all! Property is very clean and well-managed.

we had a great stay at the bunkyard hostel. the room is really nice and verry clean, the bathroom aswell. the shower is nice. the pool is beautiful and nice. the breakfast was verry good and the stuff is lovely. its pretty familiar.

Cet hostel se trouve dans le jardin du proprio, il n'y a qu'un dortoir de 4 lits. La chambre était propre, la salle de bain aussi. Le jardin est spacieux et la piscine est grande. L'hébergement est très calme et l'hôte toujours dispo pour aider. Néanmoins il est à 7min du centre en tuktuk.

Nice hostel for a quick stop - It was clean and the pool was nice (salt water). The hosts are very helpful as well. However, it is pretty tight if all 4 beds are occupied.

The bunkyard was a lovely place! The pool was nice and the room was great. It’s a bit out of the way and there is only one four bed dorm so not ideal for socialising or if you’re a solo female traveller. Snuggly blankets though !!!

Loved my stay at The Bunkyard so much! The facilities are cosy, beautiful garden/pool area and tasty food. The staff go above and beyond to make sure that you have a great stay, big thank you to Dushan!! I came here as a solo traveller and felt very safe and at home the whole time, highly recommend! 🫶 Hopefully see you again soon!

Lovely hostel super chill, we were the only ones there so had the place to ourselves felt like a private villa. Hosts were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s a small place so not social but nice if you just want to relax or are travelling in a group.

very nice staff, great food, nice pool and good location. Chill villa vibes with affordable price, a safe quiet place to rest while traveling, more of a home stay then a traditional hostel as there are only 4 beds, and no one was staying there during my visit which was nice.

Adorei a minha estadia. Não está na confusão do centro de Galle, mas têm ótimas instalações, jardim muito bom. staff muito simpático. Gostei e repetia

pool is nice and it's outside of city so is quiet but still good to enjoy pool in galle since beach isn't best

We had a warm welcome at The Bunkyard. They took us straight to the room even though we were a bit early. I liked that they gave us towels for the pool, shower and our face. We also got a welcome drink and it’s possible to order food. The beds are nice, good curtains. The bathroom is nice and modern. The hostel is quite small, only 1 room, 4 guests. The pool was really nice. It is a bit far away from the center of Galle but it was easy to get a PickMe tuk tuk everywhere we needed to go.

i can just recommend everyone to stay at this beautiful place. Its modern, clean, the staff is extraordinarily (!) kind (but not intrusive at all though) and they are preparing some of the best food i ate at my stay in Sri Lanka. Great praise! bohoma istuthi

One of my most favourite hostels I’ve stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many. While it’s only a 4 bed boutique hostel the common area is huge with swimming pool and pool bar. If you stay here you must try their BBQ one night. It was phenomenal. I made some great friends here. It has a social vibe while still being relaxing and quiet. The hosts were so kind and helpful. They really go above and beyond. I would come back in a heart beat :)

Best hostel in Sri Lanka I've stayed at! The hosts are the nicest people, beds are super comfy with curtains, clean bathroom and great place to chill. Towels and toiletries were also included. Even tho the location is a bit outside I would definitely come back to relax by the pool and play with their lovely dog Luna :)

Lovely place to stay we arrived early and they were not bothered at all and we got a watermelon juice on arrival! Family were very friendly and helpful with transport

Such a lovely place to stay. Very attentive staff. 25 minute walk to Galle fort. Pool all to ourselves, delicious breakfast cooked by hosts!
