Really liked this hostel. Great value room are amazing and clean. Really good AC. Staff are super nice and helpful :)
Super nice cosy social hostel in El Nido ! I recommend it a lot !
Really nice staff. the room was okay. Only one out of 5 hot shower in the first floor, and the water was lukewarm at best besides that good showers. quite a bit of mosquitos in the room on the first floor. had to remove them everytime I got in. overall nice hostel a bit too expensive for what I got.
Great hostel! ☺️
I had a reservation, made four days prior. No bed was available upon my arrival. I wasn't informed beforehand, which wasn't great.
Nice property good location
Great hostel not super social and limited common area but super comfortable rooms, quiet and clean!
Lovely stay here and the staff are super accommodating! Really kind security guard and manager. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Great location with good views!
This hostel is genuinely one of the nicest I’ve stayed in. It all looks very modern and gives a Greek / beachy vibe. The beds are very clean and comfortable and the rooms are private. The only downside is there was only 1 hot shower on our floor so we all waited to use it. The others were too cold to use. We were only there 1 night but I couldn’t see much of a social atmosphere but the hostel is so close to the town centre it’s easy enough to walk and socialise at a nearby hostel.
Very clean hostel, with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are very small relative to the number of guests. The security is poor. There is a guard that supposedly watches who enters the property but for the most part they are on their phone and anyone who looks like a tourist could enter the building without any issues and then waltz into the building & no locks into dorms, just a secure spot to lock valuables. Someone also fell out of the top bunk when the handle ripped out of the wall.
Was very clean, the ladies at the desk were super friendly and helpful. Bit of a walk from the main street with food/bars, but not bad. Super easy to find a tuktuk right outside the front door.
The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable in this well-located hostel. However, we didn’t like that we had to change rooms after the first night despite booking for four nights. The staff came to our room and insisted we move after 9:30 AM even though check-out was at 12 AM. The toilets were often filthy and clogged so more regular cleaning would be appreciated. The pool at the entrance was small with filthy water, and we would have preferred spots to relax and sunbathe.
Dorm was nice and the bed comfy. Nice that the pool is there also. Only one hot shower per floor was kinda strange and the toilets are a little tight when sitting. Good location when you can’t get Frendz booked!
Really nice dorms but quite small. It’s a good place to stay if you want a quiet time in El Nido but no atmosphere or area to chill so depends what you’re after. No locks on the dorms which I didn’t love
A decent hostel which is in a quiet area but still within walkable distance to most things you need. They keep it clean and are friendly on welcome. Only one shower with hot water was a bit of a let down but may not bother some! I'd go back if I ever returned to El Nido
Blau Hostel is a newly built hostel and it definitely feels new and clean. The beds were comfortable and of good quality. The hostel states that WiFi should be available on the floors, but unfortunately it did not work where my bed was located in the room. There is also only one hot shower, and the water doesn’t get very warm. The clothesline is very small and doesn’t fit everyone’s laundry, and you have to pay extra for a towel, which is a bit disappointing for a hostel.
the building is complitly new with 3 floors with mix bathrooms, which are big and confortable, so no time to waste waiting. the dorms are small for 8 bads, but confortable and clean. the lockers are vary big and safe. Filtered water available. they organise tours and rent mkterbikes (a must to stay in El Nido), during the night there is a security guy, so the hostel is safe. During my stay was very full, so it is possible to socialise.
The hostel looks beautiful, but it is extremely small. I’m a small person myself, yet even I found the toilet cubicles and showers uncomfortably tiny. There was nowhere to place or store personal belongings. The staff repeatedly turned off the air conditioning, while guests are not allowed to use the remote themselves. This resulted in very unpleasant wake-ups because of the temperature in the room. The staff was also not very friendly when I adressed this, ‘it’s the way we do it in El Nid...
