Great independent place with a superb location. We traveled by public bus, which almost stops in front of the hostal.
Gorgeous location. Good, basic accommodation. Very lovely staff. Only thing I would like to see changed was the synthetic quilt cover but overall very highly recommended
Gosh Iam just so pleased I found this hidden gem. I am very greatful to the lovely owner who was very accommodating. I admire the way the place is set up and the owner is living onsite to manage anything that may require her attention. I had a enjoyable quite stay that was affordable alongside meals etc local... I would most certainly recommend this hostel as u get privacy, good quality, comfortable accommodation and it's nicely priced.
L'auberge était sympathique ainsi que le personnel. La cuisine est super. Les chambres sont grandes. La literie est un peu dure et le coin de salle de bain un peu spartiate.
No matter if you are on foot (Causeway Coast Way), traveling by bus, or traveling by car. This hostel can accomodate you with a clean environment, great rooms, a car park, a bus stop right next to the hostel, and lovely staff. Secret tip: take the bus to the Giant's Causeway and walk back along the coast (Causeway Coast Way) until the Ballintoy harbor. With good sky, this is the most beautiful way to enjoy this beauty of a coast line
Fantastic place to stay and super friendly staff.
Un Hostel muy nuevo con todo lo necesario. Personal amable y dispuesto para lo que esté en su mano. La habitación y el baño están bien. La ducha no tiene mampara y es una continuación del baño. Las toallas se alquilan. No hay desayuno incluido, pero se puede hacer uso libre de la cocina y el comedor. Dejan guardar alimentos en la nevera de la cocina. Está muy cerca del puente "de cuerda Carrick-a-rede", incluso se puede acceder andando a este. Que sepa, hay dos bares cerca.
Brilliant hostel on the beautiful Causeway Coast. Ideally located for the Causeway Coast/ Ulster Way long-distance footpath, Ballintoy Harbour (GoT fame), Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge, and Giant's Causeway, and has good public transport links (Ulster Bus) Rooms are modern, comfortable and well furnished. I had an ensuite Double, which was lovely. The hostel has a large dining room/lounge, with a well equipped modern kitchen. I found the hostel to be very clean throughout. Highly recomm...
Very clean, lovely village, lovely host. Two nice pubs with good food in the village. The harbour is particularly nice.
Fabulous hostel, lovely staff and very clean.
Private rooms for budget prices. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly situated for the end of your Ulster Way hike. Rooms are no-frills, but cozy. Bring your own towel!

Had a good stay here. We had a private room in the hostel and we had everything we needed. Very friendly host and nicely located along the coastal road so an ideal stop on the way. Can recommend!
We had a really glorious stay at Sheep Island View Hostel in Ballintoy. It was the lap of luxury. The staff are so helpful and the facilities are excellent. We'll be back

A great place to stay and explore the area.
We spent 2 nights at Sheep Island View an enjoyed our time very much. The building is relatively new and as such all of the facilities and rooms are quite clean and new as well. The backpackers is centrally located on the Causeway coast making it a nice place to base oneself to explore everything the coast has to offer. There is also a nice pub down the road that offers dinner until 20.45 if you're looking for a feed. Overall a solid place. I would return again if in the area.
Amazing place! Was there for two nights and used it as a starting point to explore the Causeway coast. Aileen was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.
