It was dirty and unconfortable. The dog **** and ***** in front of our room. The bathroom smells like poop and there’s no atmosphere at all. The bed doesn’t come with proper bed sheets. But it’s well located.
Very good hostel. Good in terms of price-services.
Horrible experience wouldn’t be paid to come back! There was two parties on both Sunday and Monday night which went on well into the early hours keeping I’m sure every resident awake. The hostel is FILTHY and looks like it’s not seen any upkeep in decades. The facilities are barebones and the staff are not very helpful or warm. We saw when we booked that there was a deal for laundry but no one told us about it. The same for the breakfast. Everything felt cobbled together and as though they...
If you’re looking for a cheap private room in Quito this is a decent option but there are a few pros and cons. Pros: good price, filling breakfast and great location Cons: very noisy at night, especially if you’re on the terrace, when I was there there was a bonfire with a quiz night which was objectively quite fun but I’d booked in for a week whilst doing some classes nearby and want in a party mood so couldn’t sleep at all that night but again that’s just my experience, the bre...
Stayed for several weeks I’m one of the roof top single rooms. I absolutely loved it!! Staff is like family. Very welcoming and engaging. Facilities are good, they really do a great job cleaning the community spaces and bathrooms. Only caution is that it can be load at times. Traffic is load as you are in Central and lots of it! Also, internet is not great in the roof top single rooms, it’s great everywhere else though. I would definitely stay again!
Súper nice vibe, friendly staff and guests. It has a kitchen and breakfast included
A great place to stay in Quito. David was really helpful and welcoming. The location is good but dangerous, watch your phones on the street!
Ich habe mich hier nicht wohl gefühlt
I was in the five person dorm which was facing the main road and so it was pretty loud also at night. Had to sleep on top of a very shaky bunk bed. Since the guy underneath me was moving pretty much half of the night I didn’t get much sleep unfortunately. So if you stay here get a down bed! The brothers and the staff are otherwise super nice and you get good value for the cheap price including breakfast They have a lot of interesting books, a nice terrace and a friendly dog
Awesome place to meet people and super friendly staff, yesterday David took us to the a free symphony orchestra (I have no idea how often they play). The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are a bit old but everything works.
a great place to discover the ciry as it is in center of the old town. For the price you get what you paid. david the owner was super helpful withgivinginformation about the city. also people staying there are very open minded and great stay to interact.
Note that if you leave your belongings during your visit, you will be charged 1USD. Also, if you wish to stay a little longer than check-out you will be charged 2USD. The hostel next door "Community hostel" welcomed us with open arms at no cost. Very accommodating!
I would definitly recommend it. David helps with everything and has really great vibes. The rooms are in good conditions compared to the cheap prices. I felt really comfortable there :)
Good hostel, with really nice and welcoming receptionists, and comfy bed :)
