AVAIL Hostel

The location of this hostel absolutely cannot be beaten, as it puts you right in the heart of the city with everything just a short walk away. It is really good value for the quality of the stay, and the owner was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, offering fantastic recommendations for things to see and do. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Budapest!

Everthing was perfect. Sandor is amazing and will make sure you have a good stay on Budapeste.

Simple but clean and comfortable, excellent location. Sándor's kindness and hospitality are unparalleled. Just bear in mind it is located in THE party street, so think of packing earplugs. Otherwise this has not been a problem for us and the place is well isolated.

Sandor was an incredible host. Definitely a noisy area, but not a problem with earplugs. Showers are great. Location is great. I’m so glad we stayed here.

A lovely big room right in the heart of the Pest action. Sandor is the perfect host who cares so much about his guests. I made a mistake on my booking, arriving a day late, and Sandor generosly changed my dates. Can't recommend highly enough.

In my two years of trvale I have not met a more accommodating host in a hotel, hostel or Airbnb. The location was very central. Amazing places to see and eat within a short walking distance. The room was clean, shower and toilets clean, we had our own ensuite which was nice. Host was highly responsive and communicated in advance of our stay to ensure we had a smooth journey from touch down to leaving the city. I wish there was some dorms, but luckily we had enough for a private and this was perfect! You are in the heart of the city with a host who will happily explain everything and anything. We got a map made just for what we wanted to do and some additional spots to try. It is in the party district, so even at 1 am some music encourages you to get out of bed

AVAIL Hostel was the perfect place to call home for our stay in the city. The location, cleanliness and atmosphere were unbeatable. The owner, Sander, is a lovely person to chat with. He will be sure to give you the best recommendations and is happy to answer any questions during your stay! He is the kindest and most accommodating host I’ve experienced. I will most definitely return to Budapest and stay at the AVAIL hostel!

Two things about this unit 1) Location & 2) Having a travel consultant included in your booking. Sandor receives you with a 20 minute overview of Budapest , he adapts to your interests and also provides common directions tourists take. This is what truly makes this booking quite special. You are in the middle of the Jewish District (expect noise), but if you do not mind this (like me), then this should not be a problem. Also, if you book this unit , you will not need public transportation.

Best hostel in Budapest! I got here because of the nice reviews I read and I can assure that this are 100% true. Both Sandor and his place are amazing! From the moment I got there i felt welcomed and taken care of. Sandor is always available and checking if you need help or advice. On my first day he even showed me the city map with all of the best spots in Buda and Pest, info on restaurants, activities, etc! Our room was directly above a karaoke bar (open until 4 a.m., once until 6 a.m.). We didn't sleep for three nights due to the noise. Not recommended.

The accommodation is conveniently located and Sándor provided amazing tips and super friendly support, definitely coming back.

Great hostal and great host

The best host you can ever get. Super friendly and helpfull. The room and the bathroom was clean with good facilities. The location was convenient, definitely staying here again if I visit Budapest again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. Sandor was an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and very warm, always making sure we felt comfortable.
