Lavender Circus Hostel, Doubles & Ensuites

A Magic place!

The apartment I booked was spacious and had tons of space. Kitchen was stocked with the basics and the hostel lobby had anything else you needed. Shower was hot, room temperature was controllable, and the room had thoughtful lighting. Warning, there are a LOT of stairs to climb (over 80) to get to the hostel landing. It was old and charming and I would happily book again!

Perfect location if taking public transport to/from the airport: I had to leave at 3am for a flight and felt very safe. Staff was amazing. Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect for a couple traveling on a budget or someone looking for a bit of private space! Very close to most major attraction and the space is very cute, quirky and good for rest and relaxation in between seeing the city. Highly recommend!

It is fantastically located. Super clean , comfortable and with loads of room. Light and air con all top. Beds perfect. ( on the 2nd floor and no luggage storage in place are the only minimal things) will come back !

Wonderful Bohemian hostel with cosy, quirky vibe. Photos don't do it justice. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge area with interesting books. Spacious rooms. Brilliant location. Helpful staff. Flexible check-in/out. Highly recommend for couples looking for something comfortable and private but still authentic and affordable.

Had a wonderful stay at Lavender Circus. Very chilled vibe with friendly staff in a central location. All facilities are clean and well maintained.

This hostel is sooo cute!!! We stayed in a private room, which turned out to be a private apartment; It was much more than we expected for the price! The room was simple and complete, and the decoration was just lovely. The location is PERFECT, and the staff were very helpful. The only gripe we had was with the shower. It wasn't a big deal, but there is no shower tray, so when you turn it on, the water goes all over the entire bathroom.

Very good in all areas. So eclectic in decorations that create a cozy and fun atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

I would love to stay there again in the future. In fact I would like to work and live in that building 🤩

Surprising spot once you open the front door! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. And GREAT place to enter the city.

The decor of this hostel was so unique!! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need and the location was great, 10 mins from the main market and right beside laid sod tram, bus and metro links. Room was very warm though during our stay in June, but they did provide us with a fan upon arrival.

It is a really nice hostel with a really cool vibe. It is close enough to most of the touristy stuff as well as the party scene. The hostel itself wasn’t very lively though, mostly older couples. The staff was amazing and always ready to help!

Great guest house! Simple, clean, quiet

Great property for my partner and me. Was a very quiet vibe and about a 15 minute walk to the bars and restaurants. Staff were very kind. This is a cash pay only hostel but they were very understanding and did not require payment until checkout which gave us a few days to make a withdrawal from an ATM.

Best place to stay in Budapest. Wished I had booked a longer holiday.
